If they have a screenshot they have the code and the username/email address. Both Google’s and Microsoft’s authenticators show the email address associated with the account that the code is being generated for, so you have 2 out of the 3 pieces you need.
As someone who recently blew up their phone (and then revived it), I would recommend moving to an authenticator that can be backed-up, like Authy. 99% of my 2FA was in Google Authenticator. I was able to move most of my codes to Lastpass Authenticator. I had to use my restore code to get my Steam Guard going again,…
Tested a couple of others on my phone:
Cool... so they have a screenshot of some random authenticator codes but no username or password or any way to control which codes they screenshot. Forgive me if I’m willing to wait for google to update the app in a few days with a fix.
What sites are you using? The only one I can think of that does that for me is Google, all the others (Amazon, LastPass, PayPal, Twitter, several others) require the code.
I use a combination of blockers, normally I also have NS but it appears I forgot to install it on this PC. To be fair I don’t really bother with this one, as I also don’t really bother with G/O media anymore. First time I logged in since November.
I find it amusing that your link about a company surreptitiously harvesting data is going through a company surreptitiously harvesting data.
I ditched Avast years ago after it became apparent they had been bought by someone and were more interested in data sucking than real anti virus protection. The first sign was the bloat of the program itself. What had once been a fairly simple to use and lightweight anti virus became complicated and ran slow.
Nobody needs a pet. Woof your way outta here, weirdo.
I had the same problem (ie pushups would cause the buttons to press against my hand), so I changed the orientation via settings so that the crown and button face the opposite way (towards my elbow). Sorry if obvious, but a good amount of people don’t know the option exists.

Now just make an ambiance only strip and a 100w equivalent ambience bulb already!
The backlash against dumb, needless dogshit “technology” that we are destroying our planet to produce, yet doesn’t solve any real problems and doesn’t make anyone actually happy can’t come soon enough.
Where I work we frequently address groups of people as “guys” or “y’all.” It works. No one is confused.
What a cesspool of attempted projective control. Where is common courtesy and consideration toward those confused by the cross-currents of passing fancy and tradition?
I’m still learning here but wouldn’t “fuckers” exclude the asexual though?
I prefer “fuckers.” Seems to grab most people’s attention.
This may not get published because my LGBTQ community rarely tolerates dissenting opinions.
Nothing you said negates what I said. My making a copy still doesn’t take anything away from someone.
