This might make sense for service based subscriptions but for other things (loan repayments / bills based on usage [Power - Water - Gas]) it doesn’t really make much sense. You’re not going to be able to haggle pricing with your utilities provider or with your loan servicer.

That’s when you setup separate savings account for each bill (or for a few bills together); this way they can’t take *all* of your money. All they would get is what’s in that specific sub-savings account.
