Am I the only one offended by this? I get that this is probably the video game equivalent of Veronica Mars (which, for the record, I kicked in for)—small quirky property that has a devoted fan base—but there’s no other way that Sony could have financed this without essentially making fans underwrite it? Because if the

But sometimes some of us wants to see a groaner. And Uwe Boll delivers.

And sweet is worse than cancer.

The milk of human kindness overflows on Twitter.

In my own personal experience, it's way beyond "loopy." At one point, I got out of bed, drove to IHOP, ate and paid for a meal, and drove home, with only vague memory of having done so.

I also think it's kind of unfair to look at the number of in-flight fatalities comparing one to the other. Obviously, if you're going to die in spaceflight, you're more than likely going to do it either during liftoff or re-entry, and if something goes wrong with a shuttle that can carry seven people, you'll get

That's 14 astronauts (you might remember Challenger and Columbia) vs. 4 kosmonauts (Komarov aboard the Soyuz 4 & the crew of Soyuz 11).

So, you're not homophobic, but penises are still nasty?

You'd best hurry to a strip club or find a back issue of Maxim or the SI Swimsuit Issue. Otherwise, you might get an irreversible case of The Gay.

To the best of my knowledge, juries find people guilty or innocent, not the cops. And I don't know why exactly no one from the police or the district attorneys office is being charged with anything, but that's beyond the purview of the NCAA.

He was in no way, shape, or form found "innocent." They just, for whatever corrupt reason, decided not to charge him.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that this is only the NCAA's fines. Civil damages could end up being at least twice that much, if not more. I know they lost sponsors immediately after Sandusky was charged, I bet they end up losing more.

You know, I don't know if there was a good punishment here, but all things considered, I think this is pretty appropriate. I think it gives a decent sanction against the corruption at PSU without penalizing the existing players too much.

How long until the Paterno family releases a statement whining about the loss of Joe's record?
