I'm warming up the frying pan. A cut of cheap sirloin that is not well seared is hardly a cut at all.

Sure, they could do the same thing in the form factor of a microSD card. I just wanted to make the point about a physical standard that is in place, broadly used and can hold a lot of information for it's size. If they want to make them have some sort of physical security circuit that would be great. All the…
I'm a meat-etarian. But I don't always eat a lot of nice red meat. I definitely seem to binge on it. I've thought it was coincidental in the past, but maybe there's a mood issue that my subconscious is dealing with when I have steak tacos, a burger, pot roast and nicely done pan fried steak withing 48 hours. Then I…
I don't buy wireless as a universal solution. Setting up local connections isn't always straight forward. Distant connections rely on maintained networks that are still inconsistent. Sure 90% of the time my drop box account is available. But I don't want a solution with 10% failure built in. And I don't necessarily…
Yes used. I left out the words, "on craigslist"! I think new the ones this size cost even more than 3-500. And these don't open in the middle like the case above. I just like the idea of the compact, portable aspect of anything from cameras to cars. If logistics people were involved in design of products we'd have a…
I think the iPhone is the only modern smartphone without a microSD card slot. So if you've seen an android phone, you've seen someone use their microSD card slot.
Why not switch to an already accepted form of microSD? Then a phone with 2 or more microSD slots could just run from one for the SIM function and swappable data from the other(s). It would allow for multiple sims and/or multiple storage slots. If the end of the PC age is here, lets get these phones up to speed and hot…
I'm converting a Road case into a travel trunk wardrobe and have my eye on another for other things like this (desk, entertainment center, etc). Road cases for rack space or amps are super tough and you can pick up ones of this size for 50 to a few hundred bucks.
I think this is a good move. It's at least useful if not good. Publishers need to find out how far they can go before hits drop off dramatically. And they'll find out which kinds of people will drop off at which point. Maybe a very low subscription rate is good as long as the demographic is valuable. Few outlets…
Apple Polish! That's awesome in a way that seems like an iCritic's creation.
That could be it too. I played with a transformer for a bit and it didn't feel the same either. None of them would be anything I'd call rough, but the iPad does seem a bit more what could be described as 'slippery'. Maybe my brain is feeling that and translating it to water or a temp change associated with that.
I don't like screen protectors, but I'd imagine it would change the experience. I was just wondering if the thickness of the glass conducts temperature differently or if it's in relation to the sensation of my other hand touching aluminum rather than plastic. I want to a Sony store next to the apple store to test…
I know this is all about the display, but I was wondering if it's just me or does the iPad screen feel better to touch? I'm a typical anti-fanboy PC person who really likes their iPad and I couldn't quite place why I'm less impressed with the touch experience of Android tablets. I can get over sensitivity differences,…
I imagine it's going to be a combination of maintaining a such strong cash position, a dividend program and possibly a stock buy-back.
The shadow of the arms up at the end is the best part!
If you want to be 100% certain of the effects on every person in the population, you must try it on 100% of the population.
TJVJ! My favorite new phrase.
That's a valid point. But I don't think this is reconstituted liquified bones, hide and other non-meat parts. I think it's the shredded carcass after all the major meat is taken off. They use all the non-meat parts too! But not all of it for food.
The difference being the meat that wasn't treated with ammonium hydroxide is more likely to be contaminated with E Coli O157: H7. I'll take my my meat products in less-deadly form.
Native cultures are celebrated for not wasting any part of an animal harvested from the wild. But when it's done in a more efficient and clean environment it's evil and dangerous? I don't quite follow?
