Yes, the times where you'd most likely to use a lot of roaming data...you'd use a lot of roaming data.

At first I was disappointed in this. Very un-TMobile-like. But according to the 'H' icon on my phone, I'm almost always on their high speed data ('4G') frequency of 1700 MHz so it's really only when I'm on EDGE. And 100 mb on EDGE goes a long way. Now when tethering on the other hand, even on EDGE it would be eaten up…
On-boarding in a big company can take a long time. Getting people up to speed on projects comes next. If you could add a layer of security while a person is wasting time getting used to how things work it could be a worth while expenditure in terms of productivity costs (not much).
I formally went on a similar quest to find the best winter jacket in the last month. I live in a very cold area. In the end the warmest, most functional easiest to don and remove, one-piece winter parka is still the N-3B military parka. And I think it looks dam good.
This is a good example to show how wrong it is to give free speech rights to corporations but not a single person is held responsible.
And yet the they have the same rights to free speech as you do!
That or Gamma radiation travels about the same speed as water dropping from somewhere. I'm pretty sure it travels at regular EM speed.
Waiting for the US congress to do something about global warming is like waiting for someone who can't decide if they should tie their shoes to design and sew a wedding dress. Sure he'll probably not trip over his laces walking between the couch and the toilet, but don't expect him to understand and be able to act on…
A bit arrogant but maybe true enough for now. I still don't think they (the competitors) are quite there yet. But they are now legitimate options and almost certainly will grow in numbers. Even if iOS tablets stay as dominant as Windows PCs, I think that's fine. It's worked out well for selection and function of…
The modular laptop is great. It's hard to get people to jump for all their devices in one, but if someone made them all well (enough) I think the right price point could make for a successful device.
And this is during the Budapest-Bamako along the western Sahara.
Not really a problem. If caffeine acts as a diuretic, it desensitizes quickly.
We do not share half our genetic make up with c. elegans. Their utility is that they are genetically, physiologically and anatomically thoroughly mapped. Most of their genes have human homologs but that's different than sharing identity of our genetic make up.
This is where the Kindle Fire and Nook Color come in. 1)Cheaper. 2)expandable/transferable storage. 3)have supported ecosystems.
I studied the same way. I think the note cards are just as much for active learning as self testing. I think the note cards should be manually created. I don't feel the same way about type notes. Maybe the connection between the hand written word and memory is lost on affluent students of today that don't use the…
And it's hilarious. Thanks, I couldn't place it at first. After I recognize the first line I start laughing til I almost have tears in my eyes. I need to watch that again.
The lack of efficiency wouldn't be my concern. Just that single snow plows are a challenging enough to not kill people or for people to not run into. In a high traffic area with people entering and exiting every 0.25-1 mile it can be dangerous. There are plenty of wide swaths in Minneapolis that could do well with…
I wouldn't think this would be good for densely populated areas. In cities freeway use is much more dynamic with more exits, entrances as well as cars. I'd be navigating something like this is not easy.
These statements from the Murdoch, MPAA and RIAA are just sad, last, whiny gasps from groups that are pissed that they paid elected officials a lot of money and it just may not pay off.
I'll take this as an opportunity to practice my very poor French reading ability at fr.wikipedia.org
