Living in the grays still, not sure if anyone will see this, but...
In my fleet we have 144 Chevy Silverados (Silveradoes?) for our salesmen, we have 31 trucks from the 2013 model year and in 18 of those the stereo will randomly decide to cycle through radio stations or function (CD to Radio to Aux to...). It's incredibly annoying for the driver and rather dangerous as they try to fix…
But you've seen something much more rare. I believe they made two M-21's and that's the only one that survived.
British Airways has this too, while booking our vacation this year my girlfriend insisted on being registered as a viscountess.
She had to have put gas in it at some point. How is that even possible.
My grandpa was on the design team for the B-52 at Boeing as a fuselage engineer, his experience in WWII flying the B-29 helped inform him a lot (so did his masters in aeronautical engineering from Yale). He passed away early last year at 93, I remember him asking me when I was in Afghanistan in 2002 "hey, how are the…
I wish there was a way I could send this article to my girlfriend of 3 years so she would entertain this idea. Her 62 year old aunt had an ancient one put in sometime in the dark ages that scarred her and rendered her infertile causing my girlfriend to be deathly afraid of them. She'll just see it as me trying to make…
Yeah I don't know why we seem to have a good selection of 80's up here. http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/ctd/481289…
Always love seeing FZJ80 love.
Totally spot on with the bundling of dealerships being an issue. When I go to pick up a new fleet vehicle (normally a Silverado 1500) I'm going to a Chevy dealer in an "auto-row" wedged between a highway and a less than reputable mall surrounded by office parks and motels. Next to that Chevy dealer? A Cadillac dealer.…
As a former Spru-can sailor it feels nice seeing the Foster still serving a mission, even as a punching bag. My ship (Fife) was sank in a SinkEx shortly after decom when they couldn't find a buyer for it, they shot the whole bow section forward of the forecastle off and it stayed afloat. Tough boats.
Anywhere in LA you wanted to go and were denied? If so, did they say why?
I'm going to request a place NOT to go, Seattle.
Being a Seattle kid, these Hydros and the Blue Angels during SeaFair week defines Summer.
There's a solid amount of Unimog's rolling around up here too. I love this.
Awesome! Good to see it resurrected!
I just saw one this morning on my commute. My girlfriend thought I was having a stroke as I handed her my phone to get a pic. Then she said "oh that does look pretty cool", love that woman.
If you can come during SeaFair you'll get to see not only the museum but the Blue Angels (who park in the area next to the museum parking lot) and a full airshow complete with old warbirds.
I had an Emirates flight from Bahrain to Frankfurt that if you told me I was in coach I would not have believed you, it was seriously nice.
