It's more like making pancakes...the first one is always a little messed up.

I was recently talking to my mom about how I learned to do her signature in high school, not because I was doing bad things - but because she would never remember to sign things like permission slips.
Hmmmm....I guess the book?
What seems less desperate?
Man, you get excited over very little. Olive Garden? What's better than that, in your mind, free Arby's? Ebola at will?
I'd rather live in Nashville than NYC. Nashville is super fun. NYC is expensive and annoying. Been there, done that. Moved out for a cooler job that paid me more money. And Nashville is cheaper. Also, they have Bolton's Spicy Chicken & Fish and Hattie B's Hot Chicken. The end.
The difference between this and the enthusiastic coverage of Meeks on Jezebel is just embarrassing.
8/10. Would incarcerate.
White and black are eye shadow choices? They're just standard car colors. The pink is really goofy looking for sure.
Oh, one more. I had a very good friend who elaborately planned his coming-out. His folks were divorced, so he'd lived with just his mother for maybe his whole life. To tell his mother he was gay, he got a reservation at her favorite restarant, got some flowers, dressed up, and waited nervously.
I don't think that's really a fair comparison here.
When I came out, my mom told me:
"A Jezebel Commenter Was Given a Sub-Site, and You Won't Believe What Happened Next!"
I believe all three of these ladies need to write a short introduction about themselves using only gifs. Or a la the Emoji Tatler.
My daughter talks all day long, she's 10. As she's gotten older her conversation is wayyyyyyyy more interesting than it was when she was 4 but we still have to ask her to stop talking sometimes. She's super self-sufficient now and can do her own laundry, make lunch and all that good stuff. Our house is so empty when…
I understand why people would feel like they couldn't talk about this. If we're being honest about feelings here, I honestly felt no sympathy for the women above. To be honest, I saved all my sympathy for their children.
These are really great conversations to have, definitely, but as a side note, can we all just get along? I have a 15 month old son and he is obviously the biggest thing in my life right now. I go out of my way to temper the amount I talk about him at work or on social media or to my childless friends. I would…
Congratulations! I finished the last year and a half of my BA at 30 while working full time—it was such a proud moment in my life. I do sometimes wonder how seriously I would have taken college if I had the "traditional" experience.
Good for you! I went the community college route and earned by nursing degree in my late twenties, then it also took me a long time, with many stops along the way, to earn my BA. But now I'm a first-year law student at the age of 40. It's crazy hard, but I can't imagine having done it any other way.
