I’ll leapfrog here to say that there’s a line between advocacy and something else. Battlefront II devs were talking about receiving death threats today on Twitter. I get that folks are upset... I’ve been pretty vocal too... but I want to use this as a general opportunity to remind folks to approach these issues

People need to realize HR departments aren’t there for your rights. They are there to protect the company. The company will always come first.

it really is. The only reason I sided with new monarchy is cause of those sweet red shaders.

The REAL problem is that the price of games has held steady at $60 despite inflation and the rising cost of game development. $60 is pretty expensive to begin with, so it’s hard to imagine that changing, but this is unsustainable!

I think people want it to succeed. I know I do. NMS has such potential and to see the developers actively trying to realize that potential instead of just bailing on the project is refreshing in an industry that has mostly proven itself to be cynical and predatory.
