The tagline for this game, on some promotional artwork anyway, is:
"The year is 2007... it is the FUTURE."
Which tells us that this game represents the ONLY way games should be made from here on out lol
I'd still put in a vote for Michael Biehn to play Snake in a movie adaptation lol. The dude's forever a badass!
Good choice with Red Son! Gotham by Gaslight would be a fun series, as well!
"So there you have it: Star Wars will be an annual release from now on. No word on DLC plans."
I LOLed. I think spinoff films are a good idea (to an extent), as they let different directors creat new visions within the SW universe. But with yearly releases, they run the risk of oversaturating the market with Star Wars…
ZOMG... Dude, I would pay for myself and for like 10 friends to see that in a theater.
Yeah, definitely wait for the bargain bin, I trudged through it and got all I could out of it as an Aliens fan, but it's a pretty ridiculous waste of potential. And Michael Biehn's inclusion ACTUALLY becomes insulting instead of awesome.
Well, I wasn't implying he was literally drunk, but he certainly sounded like he was considering the light and drowsy delivery. He probably just knew the project was going to be crap and gave it an "I just don't care" delivery lol. I guess looking back, considering the crap storyline and overall quality of the game, I…
That honestly wasn't as bad as I expected, but I guess everyone expects that because Gangnam Style became so overplayed. At least it's catchy and the music video is still funny, if not as surprising as his last.
Some of it was, I mean, he sounded like he was drunk during the recording sessions, either that or incredibly bored, his performance was so bad. Unimpressed with the source material, I can understand, but he could have at least TRIED to sound decent lol
I wouldn't count on the library going away, there's still a few bucks to made from the 2000+ songs people can buy! Just not enough to invest time/money in making new ones :(
I agree, Guitar Hero had pumped so many iterations out that no one cared anymore, what with Band Hero, Metalica, 80's, Aerosmith, etc. They pulled the same crap with Tony Hawk, too many releases, not enough innovation. By the time the final game came out, nobody cared. They cannibalized their own franchise.
This was definitely on the horizon for a while, but it's still sad to see Rock Band come to an end. I've spent hundreds of hours and dollars, and had that much worth of fun, bonding with friends to great music. I'll certainly buy this fitting sendoff song, and say goodbye to one of my favorite franchises. *raises…
God, one can only hope...
Sadly, I agree, it's terribly lame without him
My god... I don't think I can feel feelings anymore after watching those... What just happened to my brain?
Yeah, the commercial was funny, but the game itself looks pretty cheap and the in-game footage was edited really poorly. Doesn't make the game look good lol
Yep, the man is simply awesome :)
Here here! The generic action games for Evil Dead have been fun, but mostly forgettable, saved almost entirely by Bruce Campbell just being awesome, but I think a scary AND comedic adventure game would be fantastic!
