I like the outgoing model much better. As you said, the side blades were such a striking bit of design.

The older looks much better. Having said that, I'm so glad the slider is back.

There's just not enough sex. That's what I've decided. Yes, it's faster, lighter, and more modern, but it's also a little more boring, a little more corporate, and without the famous gated manual.

A flying buttress opportunity totally missed. this would have been the perfect blend of integrated aero and the body integrating with a "one-piece" side-blade. Nonetheless im glad they kept the idea of the side-blade alive

It actually looks more like a TT than the old one did... in a bad way...

It's fairly handsome, even if I do miss the full-on sideblades, and find Audi's current ultra-angular design language generally less pleasant to look at than the slightly softer lines they've been using since the early oughts.
