I valeted my ‘98 Cavalier a few times (currently at 251k miles, some rust on the doors - and at least one of the times, had a nice exhaust leak - also leaks gas a little. Good little car otherwise).
Oh you meant a horror story for me, not them.

Why Spend Time Fixing Your Car When I Can Fix One of My Five Cars Right Now?
He is a veteran and my shipmate.
A few years ago, Igor Anton crashed out of the lead of the Vuelta a Espana when it looked like he was the best rider there. This year's Giro saw the leader crash and lose 5 minutes on a descent. So it’s not completely unheard of. But Froome would have to take a spill and get hurt badly enough to lose his lead.
Froome will be in a cocoon of teammates, especially given the conditions. About the only shot anyone else has is if repeated attacks throughout the stage can isolate Froome (and that still may not be enough as he can hold his own). Teams with riders still somewhat in GC contention aren’t going to take an “anyone but…
Depends on how hurt he is (not very in my opinion from behind the TV screen). No ones beating him by 4+ minutes. Today’s minor loss was most likely more due to him riding another’s bike with another gearing and different measurements.
Battle-Ready Ordnance Delivery Operating with Zero Effective Readiness, or BRODOZER for short.
I daily drove my 1971 Lancia Fulvia last summer, that was a thrill. Allas, it would have returned to the dirt before this summer if I’d driven it throughout the bad seasons. I have a Citroen 2cv to abuse during months like those. The way I see it, if you’re going to have one car to save another, make sure you can…
He sounds like my kind of guy! Between me, my dad and brother we’ve owned 4 El Caminos. Here’s the best part of the story of the 71 dad drives now. It was restored in 04 and 05. He found it online and bought it sight unseen from some classic car dealer. My dad and brother drove from Cincinnati to Atlanta in dads 98…
Thanks Andrew! The teal is Intense Teal right out of the plasti dip gallon. The green on the Z3 is custom mixed for an Evergreen look like the M Coupe. If you have any questions about spraying your truck, Dipyourcar customer service would love to help.
Nice post Andrew!
The 2017 is pretty nice, especially with Sync3. I got to drive a top of the line with the V6, AWD, and all the trimmings and it is very nice, but the price definitely gets salty with those options. I also drove more of a base model with the 2.0L turbo and FWD. It was not bad, but the steering that you could turn with…
You want a bimmer? cool get a bimmer. But the best luxury option in the 30-40k range has to be the MKZ. 400hp, awd and nice lux features.
This is hilariously false. I bought my Merkur from Rutledge! At the time he had a bonkers old GMC delivery truck he was planning to restore, a modified Honda Civic wagon in tank green, a VW Type II truck, and all sorts of other shit. Actually, the first time we met was on a dry salt lake bed and we spent a big chunk…
I saw hm take it up the hill at Goodwood a few years ago. Not flat, not straight and he did it in the dry and the rain. Dude knows what he is doing.
The originals absolutely get driven as well, but Bob Riggle doesn’t own either so getting a hold of them is harder.
It should be mentioned that this isn’t one of the original Hemi Under Glass cars. There are four HUG cars out there built off 1966-1969 Barracudas. The 1966 and 1969 cars are replicas (the 1966 was built in the 90's for Riggle and the 1969 car was built back in 2010 and is also owned by Riggle) while the 1967 and 1968…
Being an augie-doggie tasked with walking nose to tail guard on an alert ramp Buff back in the late ‘80s, looking up at its full loadout of cruise missiles on the wings and internal rack was what really drove home the reality of the cold war to me as a young airman. Big, scary, and intimidating as all hell.
I guess I’m glad I got the V8. Hope to take it to a sidewalk Track soon. ;)
Seriously, tell her to call me back.
