Yeah. One of the Volvo repair shops in town has an 1800ES in their little junk yard. I've stared longingly at its gorgeous ass many a time.
Excellent, thank you Damon. Most all of the negative comments I read are from people who don't "get it", or have never done a bit of research into the whole Tesla thing. The whole "I can't drive across the country" argument is getting old as is the "there isn't a supercharger near me" argument. What people don't…

The factory spoiler on my '01 Grand Am GT (GeeFuckingTee muthafuckas) was for actual functionality rather than making me think I'm Dale Jr. at 'Dega as I'm cruising at 70mph, which is five over because I live life on the edge and I refuse to let the man get me down.
What does this massive knob control?
Passing: The key thing is to not be affected by the other car. Imagine the old school picture in picture. Your line and your throttle points and braking points are on the main screen. You need to make sure that whatever the other car is doing is on the small picture or you just end up driving to what they do. If in…
My dad had a 95 Aero that I coveted but it being from the Berkshires in Ma, it was a rust nightmare. I owned a '91 9000 CD and to this day, perhaps with the exception of my S60 R, it is my favorite car. Elegant, practical, SUPER fast and very unique. But a mechanical nightmare. Timing chain broke, causing major engine…
My favorite installment of "People from the South Learning About the Cold" was the story of William Henry Harrison.
As someone who used to street race, I can say that it is the result of a lack of maturity and an over-inflated ego. Not only did I lose my license for a year, but I had numerous close calls at high rates of speed that would have endangered/killed other motorists. Then I grew up. What I did was wrong, and I paid for…
That sounds like a tornado siren. Air raid sirens were adapted after the war as tornado sirens. Pretty common to hear that here in Kansas. They test them every Monday at noon. During a storm it signals that we need to get the video camera out and go outside.
Haha. I actually chose it of my own volition. It's dirt cheap. Reliable. 28MPG. Supercharged. What else can I drive that lets me listen to a tape, cd or satellite all on the same radio while enjoying stupid amounts of torque steer and ensuring I'm the king of any trailer park I visit?
First of all thank you Jason for taking the time to explain the purpose of those lines. While most Jalops realize that they are there so that folks in wheelchairs can have extra space especially if they need to deploy a ramp, it seems far too many people just think they are an "extra space."
I suspect you don't know anyone with a new Land Cruiser.
I resemble that remark.
