The stepnose has always been one of my favorite Alfas. I almost bought a stepnose GT Junior about 25 years ago. I had no idea Guigarro was only 17 when he drew this car. Amazing.

Now that it has happened, Matt LeBlanc seems a perfect fit:
1) He’s a car guy
B) He can actually drive a car with some skill
III) His last name translate to “the white”, which matches Mr. Harris’ favorite color of car.

Love the link back to a Jalopnik. Classic. Now for some discourse on “Aluminum und shteel”.

Indeed! Any GM dealer or NAPA parts house will have you covered.

The GM v6 as used in the Camaro would be a great engine for a DeLorean. It has over double the hp of the old PRV lump.

I’m starting my year by flying to race at Laguna Seca. I’m hoping for a fun year of adventure and hijinks.

Oh my, this is quite nice.

Never heard of him either, but I’m eagerly awaiting more videos.

That’s “Bigbootay!”

Ah man... C’mon Sergio, give us an Alfa sedan worth waiting for.

An Austin Healey 3000 with a stock radiator fan. I’ve since upgraded to a much better fan.

Exactly. The extra “thes” just get in the way.

Up here in Washington we call it “I-405” or just “405”. It seems calling freeways “The 405” or “The 5” is a southern California thing. The addition of the superfluous definite article “the” only unnecessarily lengthens the name of that congested hellscape.
Up here in Seattle we don’t need to specify which 405 is

I can relate to Healey strandings...

Special cars, like my Healey or Miata, are essentially valueless when it comes to decisions on associated costs.

Mine has been a bonkers riot to drive for the past 3 years. It’s also been perfectly reliable.

My experience at golf courses and valet car parks has been that current new Jags are driven by an older demographic. While I am middle aged, i’m not to the point of needing a Jag yet. (I’ll pull my golf clubs from my Healey thankyouverymuch).

I’m considering the Alfa. I already have a British car so don’t really want to consider the Jag (plus it’s a little too “old man” for me).

Dammit. Very sad news. Thoughts are with his family.

This is just awful and a tragic loss. We need more people like Batman (aka Lenny Robinson).

I just love that guy. He has superhuman skills and a superhuman attitude.
