Cool! I've got my agreed value insurance set just about right. This is a useful tool.

"Leaves cast green shadows on the pavement, and I burned my name on the asphalt in melted rubber." That's some good writing, right there.

Thanks for this. At that "article" made the rounds, I was at a loss for how to refute it short of saying, "that's crappy journalism". Now, back to the video games.

That was great! They even had the same VW bug appearing several times in the background.

Here are some pichurs to illustrate. Is it just me? I didn't drive my Healey today so I can't snap a quick profile pic; but look at the Z4's haunches and tell me they're not Healey-esque.

I see it and completely agree. There are many modern cars with design characteristics ripped off, er "inspired" by classics.

Very cool. While my carport isn't heated, cooled, or carpeted, I could certainly see installing solar panels and a charger for an i3. The i3 would have to live on the driveway as the carport is occupied by an Austin Healey.

Well done, Alan. I remember that day vividly.

Pay to play is quite common in all levels of racing. For F1 you need to have the licensing to be allowed entry, but that's just more money spent racing in the lesser formula series.

I was a mechanic in the Formula Atlantic series when Hiro Matsushita came on the scene. This was in the late 80's when the cars will still Cosworth twinks and the Toyota 4AGE was merely a rumor.

I always forget about the frunk on these cars. That makes the Cayman Costco-worthy. I'm going to have to check one out when it's time to replace the Abarth.

That is a lovely blue. Both are wonderful cars, I'm sure.

Wonder if they'd take my Big Healey on trade?

Awesome! Cars like this are like pets. You wouldn't give up on Ol' Yeller would you? Hell No! Keep fixing that Baja until there's nothing left to fix. Then go drive the hell out of it until shit breaks and fix it again.

Ah, I see your point and agree with your thesis.

I disagree. A light sports car just doesn't need power steering.

I really like the i8. This car and the i3 have hit me from out of nowhere. They are really compelling products. Well done BMW. Wish I could afford an i8, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Don't call them Abarth's what?

In the late 90s I was President of the Western Washington Sports Car Council. The WWSCC organizes autocrosses among the member clubs.

Oh you and your reality getting in the way of my easily quantified magazine statistics.
