I really like the i8. This car and the i3 have hit me from out of nowhere. They are really compelling products. Well done BMW. Wish I could afford an i8, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Don't call them Abarth's what?
In the late 90s I was President of the Western Washington Sports Car Council. The WWSCC organizes autocrosses among the member clubs.
Oh you and your reality getting in the way of my easily quantified magazine statistics.
That just looks painfully awkward.
A310, good choice. I too have a soft spot for these types of cars. I think a PRV v6 motivated A310 would be a fun weekend car.
Better have Gawker Media buy you a spare. You'll need to record on video the start up sequences of some of those Bugattis.
My wife drives the Healey, but prefers to be a passenger. The transmission can be a bit balky at stoplights. Could always be driver error when I'm behind the wheel. This happens with T/C fully on. Granted the car still has the OEM tires. It usually happens when I'm turning right, uphill onto a quick street.
That's exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for. I'll have to consider that when my warranty expires.
Are any of these pieces available individually? Particularly the parts needed to bring my Abarth up to that power level?
Very cool! I'd look for a set of new wheels that look like the old wood ones. I can't imagine a wheel failure ending well.
That said, I'd love to carve canyons in that car. It makes my Healey look plush with its ridiculous creature comforts like doors and a windscreen.
He did a good job of avoiding the rocks. It really hurts when you fall on a rock. Been there...
