When I was selling Alfas, we had a side table made from the cracked block of a 1300 Gt Jr. It was a great selling tool. When describing the added lightness virtues of an aluminum engine. I'd lift the glass table top off and ask Mr. Aspiring Alfisto if he could single-handedly lift the engine block of any of the

This. The sound a 288 GTO makes as it's driving away from you at WOT is unforgettable.

Yes, a Saab B234R would kick righteous booty in a Miata. That's a great engine with a ton of room for tuning. A B234R Miata would need to be called Mjölnir.

This. must. happen. Plus, it would add another dimension to drunk curling (is there any other kind?) where the ice doesn't just feel like it's moving.

I'm sixth in the Abarth line at my local Fiat studio. I hope we get the cabrio here. Also hope we get a power boost trunk kit. It'll make a fun daily driver.

I don't care if it's a hybrid or not, it's a very handsome car.

Here are some shots of another US spec 500 Abarth.

Beat me to it! This should be number 1. The Super 7 makes any TV show opening awesome. Just think what Designing Women would have been like if a Super 7 was in the opening credits.

Definitely! I have a 9000 Aero and love it. It has stupifying passing power and wonderful utility.

That looks like Reno Fernley from a couple years ago. I believe it was not Busa powered at that event. Was fun to see and hear though.

Show us the coupe, eh.

This guy continues to be a train wreck. It's a pity. I wish his dad or Uncle Bobby would kick his butt.

By all means do not get rid of your GTV6! Those are excellent cars that need to be preserved and shared. I almost bought a friend's GTV6 until I was able to convince them to keep it.

Interesting. Thanks for the linked video. Here in the states, we won't get the two cylinder (which seems an interesting option - perhaps I'll have one as a rental in Europe sometime). Our Abarth is rumored be have 170hp; all the better to market to the people who buy based on magazine statistics rather than driving

I'll offer up Toyota's Smugtastic tour de force, the Prius. Never have so many paid so much to think they're saving money.

Yes, very polarizing indeed. I love the Volt. You're welcome.

Well said. I'm seriously considering making a 500 Abarth my first new car purchase in nearly 20 years. It would be a great commuter and squirt around car for my wife and me. Just enough room for groceries and the dog, and fun to drive. Seems a winner to me.

I've read the first page of your comment history and am unimpressed. Your kind is not welcome here.

I remember when the warehouse fire took out some of Mr. October's collection. That was a sad night in Berkeley.
