I agree, the old Jalop is running pretty well right now.

Indeed Cavallino is geared to tourists; I consider it a museum that serves food. I'll have to check out Montana when I'm next in Italia. Thanks for the tip!
I'd love a set of these plates. The staff is quite friendly and welcomed my jawdropped wandering around the restaurant admiring the collection.
Mille Miglia trophy just sitting on a shelf.
Spinelli has answered his own question. Hands down, Ristorante Cavallino is a must do. The food is fine. What puts this place over the top is the Ferrari memorabilia that literally is hung from the walls. It's a must do on any trip to Italia.
Geez, none of the above! Not a single one of those sounds would capture my attention to let me know something large is approaching. Why can't we have the option of hoofs on cobbles? Every human would notice that sound (hey, a horsie!). Have the sound speed up with the car to a reasonable galloping speed and then…
Lovely car. It has flares, don't think it has chairs though.
I was there for that race at Sears Point. The Audis were jawdroppingly good. Even more stunning was that they were built from bodies in white, and not piles of tubes, like their Trans Am competition.
Scott Pruett never lived up to his skill and potential, IMHO. Back when I worked at Sears Point, (Geez, two "old times at Sears Point" posts in the same thread - I'm a sad old fart) I witnessed Scott Pruett hustle a CART car around the track with much skill. I don't remember the lap times but they were quite…
Me too! The Infineon/Sears point race was always cool to watch. Back in the early days of NASCAR racing at Sears Point's full track, I used to brag (hell, I still brag) that my IT car's lap times would qualify me mid pack in the Cup starting field.
This. It was a thunderclap across parking lots everywhere. My Tamiya was instantly relegated to backmarker status.
How very sad. I'm glad he got a chance to show his work and see it be well received.
Which is the real Lotus and which is the evil robot Lotus?
Damn! I was just there. It would have been fun to be a nuisance around them...
Well done! Heart clicky.
Agreed. It looks very good in white. Lot's of bits to make nice contrasty shadows.
Excellent! While I wasn't bothered by 5.0 as many other old timers, I do like the smaller footprint this version has. Keep it.
I leave for Italy on Tuesday for a vacation to visit family. I've been furiously working to get ready to be away for two weeks. You know the drill, work ahead two weeks yet still be two weeks behind when you get home. The associated stress has led me to crack a tooth (and get a root canal) from clenching my jaw.
The Alfa TZ from 1963 called and suggested a bit of google fu.
Your GTV6? Looks clean.
