Wow, Hitler and I are finally in agreement about something.

@badco/LoJ: She's a keeper alright. She wants an old 911 for her daily driver when our daughter is finished with college. Most importantly, she puts up with all the car bullshit I'm involved with. LeMons is a ton of fun, but it's totally esoteric to the normals. She curls with me too; I'm a lucky son of a bitch.
I showed this to my wife and she said, "I want one!" The project starts. I wonder if I could get a junkyard nav system to work? That might be handy for when we're camping.
Cue A-Team theme
@UglyDuckCar: Cheers to that.
@Captain Liverspots: Let's leave that national embarrassment where it belongs. Stuffed in a mental cookie jar where it is never mentioned or even thought.
@Not-too-Pessimippopotamus: Compelled in a manner similar to passing a car wreck, I looked at them again. Seriously bizarre appearance for these two.
They're orange. What's up with that?
Go go Godzilla!
I'd do it (that is if I could afford a ZR1). Sounds like a fun way to bond with your car. Wonder if they'd let me fire it up for its first run?
@GreenN_Gold: Sadly, the Chryslified Lancia (which I like) would take longer than months to get through the various federalization requirements given that the Lancia Delta wasn't designed with NHTSA in mind.
@OA 5599: Thanks!
@GreenN_Gold: There are no specs and details. That's why I'm snarky with Chrysler. The best new product they bring to the show is a tarted up Lancia that won't even be made?
@GTBruiser: Pictures don't do it justice. Many folks just think, "Meh, flared 308." In person the 288 GTO exudes power, beauty, and a sense that if you take your eye off it, it will have a knife to your back.
@outZider: Audi set the bar for interior materials and design. Not mention that the products overall have been consistently good or excellent in their market spaces. That they have LEDs and chrome is not thier only positive(?) trait.
@TheSwagger: I'm more of a roadster fan, but I could back this one's preservation.
@Bret: How about this one?
@Bret: Such a sexy little red X, isn't it.
288 GTO
Sigh. Chrysler's strategy for dealing with a noncompetitive product appears to be slathering it with LEDs and chrome.
