I wish they had tried to keep the original font, or something close to it. It’s the only thing that’s stopping me from playing this, and IX. Also, does it keep the PocketStation minigame in, in any form?

I haven’t watched the video yet, but I don’t think I could use fast-forward myself, either. You don’t *grind* in FF8 for levels, you can’t just whack on things over and over. You need to pay attention in fights and turn things into cards, otherwise you level up too much. I’ll be going slow, that’s for sure.
For anyone in need of support:
This is a game that hates trans people made by people who hate trans people.
An interesting direction for Zachtronics to go in, but after the additional emphasis on story and characters in EXAPUNKS, it seems like the natural progression. (Hopefully more of a branching out though, because I’m a huge fan of Zactronics’ puzzle-centric games like TIS-100, Shenzhen I/O, and EXAPUNKS.)
What exactly did the Ooblets developers do? Did they not use the TONE you would prefer them to?
This is like pointing at someone who just got shot on the street and saying “Well they were rude before they got shot, let’s not forget about that. I’m not *agreeing* with the shooter, but we still need to be able to…

I want to see this game fail if only so the devs can be reminded of why they made a game to begin with.
Haha, thanks! It’s good to see you, too. I took a break for a year or so for work/life stuff, but I’ve finally found the time to start writing again. :)
Localizing a Japanese game for the American market is no easy thing to do. Trying to find a way to not only accurately translate the Japanese dialogue, but then adapt it into English in a way that captures the spirit of the Japanese dialogue but makes sense to an American audience? Talk about tough work. And then to…
Damn, this is inspiring. I feel like this is an important turning point in the games industry for the fight for workers’ rights. I hope it keeps building!

As a FFXIV 1.0 player, I’m very interested in this podcast. But as I am deaf, I cannot follow along. Can you provide a transcript, please?
If only there was a way to evaluate games before they get released to make sure that they should be allowed

IGNs reviewer says he’s 53 hours in and he hasn’t finished the game yet, so I’m kind of curious how Jason beat the game that fast. Also even though the IGN reviewer hasn’t done everything in the game yet, I think his review is more comprehensive, and actually reviews the game. Jason for 3 articles straight seems to be…
Yeah. 8 stand alone games for $60 is awful. They should have just made this a $30 game with 1 caracter, and charge $10 per each additional characters stand alone stories. I bet 90% of y’all complainers would goble the same game up at $100 like that.
