For some reason this is the only game my work’s Wi-Fi decided to block. Oh well, I’ll think of a work-around.

I see a lot of people mentioning helmets always being on, but this game lets you turn off head gear if you so desire. My character didn’t look too far off from the character creator, so I’m pretty happy.
I really really really like the idea of this game but I’ve never bought it because I don’t have local friends who play games. Without some kind of online component I’ll never get to play it the way it was meant to be played. :c
I’d gladly be okay with games being priced higher to compensate for increased development costs and such, especially if they leave these pseudo-gambling stuff behind.
He was probably referring to minimum wage in the US. Afaik there isn’t a government mandated minimum wage in Japan.
I’m surprised people are, well, surprised. I mean, aside from 3, every other mainline title has been on a Nintendo system. Sony gets Persona and other spin-offs.
Gameplay looks fun, so I’m cautiously optimistic. I want to believe in a world where someone other than Kojima can make a good MG game.
Prior to the Xbone’s launch, they had a bunch of really bad press, especially at E3, and they still haven’t really recovered.
Mother 2 is just Mother 1 with worse music.
They did, back in 1998.
You can always wait for a sale I suppose. But FFIX is worth at least that much, especially with the little extra touches.
Regardless of what people said before, in 2017 people want epic, hours-long story modes in their fighting games, even if they aren’t needed. They also scream bloody murder if there’s no arcade mode (even if other modes can supplement that experience.) I’ve actually seen people complain about the lack of story endings…
If you read Electronic Gaming Monthly from 1999 to 2008(?) There was a neat comic strip about the two.
Is twelve bucks a month really that expensive?
You get some costumes iirc
Even more reason to play them in order of release, starting with the original on ps2. Yeah, I’m that much of a purist I guess.
Don’t listen to those other guys, play them in order. Zero has throwbacks to every game in the series, and a lot of those will fly over your head unless you’ve played 1-5 first. But hey, is a free country, do what you want.
Man, I miss spending way too much money on Dragon Quest stuff. My favorites are a 1/1 scale Slime (the anniversary edition, which comes with a little King Slime crown to decorate it with,) A not so 1/1 scale replica of Roto’s Helmet from DQ1, and A re-release of a Slime Tamogatchi that also doubles as a rape…
TIL that a lot of places around the world COMBINE mayo and ketchup to make something called “fry sauce.” Blew my mind.
The switch version is so so SO badly optimized though. If they can’t fix it, it’s not coming over.
