I’ve never felt like shipping characters in anything. Maybe I’m weird.

I’ve been 100% subs since my youth, but I still have to pour one out for dub fans. I don’t understand why you like it, but you should still have the option to.
The former. I believe 100% that Nintendo will bury their franchises with them than have them go software only.
The animation looks kind of good.
It plays completely fine at 30fps, but if you need more, I guess there’s a mod for that.
Male Kirlias will only evolve into Gallade if exposed to a Dawn Stone, otherwise, they still evolve into Gardevoir.
Maybe it’s me, but I don’t feel a need for all these pokemon fan games/mods. I’m pretty happy with what nintendo puts out every couple years. Gen 6 was awesome, and gen 7 is looking pretty sweet.
As a DQ fan, I suffered through the psx version. 4 hours until any fights or real exploration from the get-go. The game took me over 100 hours to finish and that wasn’t even with grinding. On the flipside it was definitely one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had with games. I’m looking forward to playing this…
Bo Jackson should be in this.
CyberConnect2 (CC2) makes such lovely anime games. These, and The Jojo’s fighters are incredible to look at. To be fair, the .hack/GU games had incredible cut scenes too.
For what it’s worth, afaik it’s being fan translated, so at least there’s that.
Pffft, Dragon Age VII :p
A lot of the plot revolves around Ryunosuke being belittled by the English, and I mean, in the worst possible way. “Yellow Monkey,” saying he has a small face, making fun of his eyes, calling his deduction “Eastern magic”. A lot of non-pc stuff. There’s a lot of Japanese nationalism too, which isn’t surprising given…
A close or direct translation wouldn’t be possible for a commercially released game, digital or not, is what I’m trying to say. There’s just so much stuff text-wise that wouldn’t fly.
After playing TGAA in Japanese, I’m not sure it could survive localization with the man themes intact. It would be almost a different game, and I’m not sure I’d want that. Just wait for the fan translation, they can get away with a lot more than a commercially released version could.
People can like first person view if they want but it’s absolutely my biggest turn-off in video games. I never NOPED at a game as fast as i did RE7. I’ll give that Fallout 3/4 is better in first person, but that’s only because Bethesda apparently can’t animate very well. The PC looks like a puppet on strings.
It took me until the end of Fallout 3 to realize I didn’t like it.
As wacky as this looks I’m willing to bet it’s at least somewhat fun, especially if it uses the mgsv mechanics and gameplay. A bunch of mother base soldiers taking on a big ol zombie gear REX sounds rad. I never thought I’d see a day where I sort of want a non-kojima Metal Gear game. And this still looks like way more…
Still first person, still don’t want it.
TGAA is most likely being fan translated as well, according to GBAtemp ;)
