Totally my kind though :3

Man, just be glad you're not an idolm@ster fan like me.

There is a team VS mode and a free for all, if i'm correct.

I don't own the game, and I haven't played it. But I'm 100% sure you can turn off the quick time events for combat, save boss battles.

It comes packaged with the game.

A category JUST for maid costumes? Sign me up!

I stopped playing games for stories years ago. I guess it's awful when a potentially good story goes awry, but I've leaned more towards the "gameplay" aspect of gaming as of late.

Man, if that ever happens, I'm quitting video games. I enjoy Dragon Quest BECAUSE it's exactly the same as it used to be. Remember when IX was going to have real time combat? And Japan almost rebelled? I'm not the only one who enjoys what it is.

I guess it's EU only, oh well!

Alright, two things. There's plenty of awesome JRPGs being released in Japan that never see the light of day here. Why can't we have those, as well as resurrected classics? And the fact that the newest Suikoden game isn't related to the other ones does not mean that it's a bad game, or that Suikoden is dead. I agree

Not in my EShop :c

Cao Ren is my waifu~<3

The clicking is kind of essential, for knowing that certain directions are really being hit. I really couldn't play without them.

More like BBS.

Not trying to promote either or, but I guess I meant "within the context of video games." It just really confuses me to see people totally okay with one thing and bash something else, when to me they can be just as bad sometimes.

Nothing wrong with it, it's pretty good. There's just way better games they could have picked.

What does it say about me, that I've never played any of these games? :/

I get where you're coming from, but not everybody suddenly hates things they used to love when they get older. Sometimes I just want to watch a cartoon about a young man using a giant robot to save the universe or some shit. Yeah, it's not deep or anything, but it sure is a lot of fun, and I shouldn't have to get shit

You know man, I agree with you on some points, but lumping all JRPGS into one big pile is really the wrong thing to do. Look at Valkyrie Profile, Resonance of Fate, Vagrant Story, and any random Dragon Quest game, and try to tell me that any of them are extremely similar to one another, outside of the fact that
