CDPR, trolling at its finest.
God I miss Television Without Pity. Tubey 4 lyfe!
Remember when Hildi glued fake flowers all over a bathroom wall? All I could think was how effing disgusting those flowers would be in about one month. Gross.
Hildi. If it was a train wreck, it was generally Hildi.
Fucking Hildi - WORST designer ever. Actually glued feathers to walls in one home. And while beautiful, Jesus Christ on a crutch - completely UNLIVABLE. She should have to live in a house full of designs she made for others.
For me. There wasn't. There were certainly other excellent points — I really enjoyed the Skellige questline — but this quest was one of the best written video game quests I've ever played. Usually, I'm not one for the hype, but in this case most people were right to be applauding it. CD Projekt managed to make me…
Two years ago, my wife and I were looking forward to the birth of our first child. We went in for an ultrasound when she was twenty-one weeks pregnant, where we learned two things within a minute of each other. First, the baby was a girl. Second, we were going to lose the pregnancy.
I loved this quest. Over the course of the Baron’s story I came to change my opinion of him every time I saw him. He was complicated, I loved and hated him. By the end of the story I was so surprised that this one storyline had such of an emotional impact on me.
The conversations with the Baron are really well-written, I felt like I was talking to a real person sharing his stories, and truly had empathy for him. If you ask me now, I wouldn’t be able to name another game with quests that have such strong impact emotionally.
I really wanted to take the little girl Ciri saved from the trail of treats with me to Kaer Morhen, I was actually pretty worried about her after The Baron left or you know, the other ending to this quest, especially after the Baron’s men started becoming dickwads to the town. I also wished there was a third option to…
That freaking quest made me cry
I cried for a man who I would hate in real life... and it’s so difficult to explain why
“One day there was a letter delivered to the office,” said Sasko. “It was sent by a father who had lost his daughter when she was a few months old. In his letter he wrote about his experience trying to save the Baron’s baby daughter which had turned into botchling, how desperately he wanted to save her. It was a…
If there’s a single story that encompasses the best of The Witcher 3’s narrative ambitions, it’s the Bloody Baron.…
WRONG WRONG WRONG. I wish I had a DISLIKE button.
Of the three options, only one might be the most accurate - throwing it away. But even this option isn’t the best because you are returning medications and chemicals back into the environment.
Pharmacy - Not sure about the rest of the country, but the pharmacies in…
Your post was like a punch to the gut. Well said.
“like someone burned down my archives”
I was able to tackle an electrical project thanks to the Home Depot electrical dept employee. I just went there to replace an outlet, told him my master plan for the basement, and he told me how to do it myself. He probably saved me $500-$600. I owe that man a beer.
that guy in his 60’s who works in electrical at my home depot is my friend’s dad, and a retired electrician. if i need electrical stuff, i wait until he’s working to get it.
Those guys in there 60’s that work at places like Home Depot/Lowes are the best resource those places have. They have likely DIY’d every project in there house and are always the friendliest people. I have witnessed and received a ton of help from these guys over the years and can’t thank them enough.
