He’s kind of like the Richard Sherman of the NFL in his wavering between smart, thoughtful, outspoken guy and complete asshole.

Draymond Green’s a dick-and-balls-kicking asshole but he’s also right a lot of the time. For every can’t miss prospect like LeBron or KD or Zion, there’s a dozen guys every year who have the potential to have long, productive careers in the NBA and never get it because they don’t land in a situation that’ll help them

I hear it’s part of the Uighur re-education curriculum in Xinjiang.

That pass was blinder than a Hong Kong protestor shot in the eyes by the Chinese government.

In today’s NFL, who’s to say getting the slotted guaranteed money for the No. 2 overall pick and retiring to your native Hawaii as early as possible isn’t “success”? Go home, Marcus, and don’t look back. You’ll be 26 years old, rich, and local hero.

Yeah, but let’s be honest, mediocre QB is a complex concept in the NFL. There are teams like Chcago or Buffalo who would probably kill for a mediocre QB at the moment.

With the regular season about to start, it’s obvious that LeBron will offer no defense against Kanter.

Those guys are all classic desperation fantasy waiver wire pickups when your first four options are all dead by Week 14.

I think this defense is broadly right—but it still amounts to LeBron saying that the sensitivities of one of the world’s most brutal and repressive regimes should set boundaries on what people in the NBA say in public. Which is fuckin’ gross!

I understand the players are caught between a rock and a hard place. But this has to be one of the most craven capitulations to money I have ever seen by a major athlete. Should have kept quiet. His rationale is bullshit.

This is just fucking gross. Thats really all I can say about it.

“Although some people like to brag about America’s freedom of speech, there’s a lot of topics that are actually quite tightly censored – if you say one thing that goes against the politically correct line, you will immediately lose your job and be scorned by the entire population.”

on the one hand: awful, late-capitalist hellscape.

It’s always fun to hold someone to standards they set for themselves. Congratulations, you and Clay Travis agree on something.

I disagree with a lot of what you are saying here. I do wish that Kerr said more, but you can’t just jump from “he didn’t say what I wanted him to say about this issue” to “stick to sportzzzz!”

Gonna reply to myself here.
