My viewing is limited to whatever Netflix has at the moment, and its been a few months since I watched it through, I couldn't even remember it was a strawberry she tried to move.

Well thats my point, we've seen it before, most recently (and heavily) for me in Being Human. It wouldn't exactly be the newest thing to have it show up in a book series -interesting, possibly fresh, sure, but I can't say the trend could stay that way for very long : /

Shooting fast (as far as *I* possibly can, at least) and loose with this one.. This one pissed me off a lot.. Like, way more then most of them this season.

General audiences aren't going to care if its the same universe with different characters, if there's any connection made to the Alien series at all, in the marketing or otherwise, they'll be wondering why they aren't watching an Alien movie..

No, the difference is that you can't ask for the developer to reimburse your money if they can't bring their game out -where retailers, as a middle man, have to.

Probably because even though she was decent *hosting* a show about a lot of different topics, while standing next to a man-child, looking "hot" (I seriously don't see her appeal, but I get why others might) while being racially ambiguous, doesn't mean people want her to see her act.. In anything.

Funny thing is I was watching some of the recent Hulk animated stuff because it popped up on Netflix last night and I had thought about the whole Ruffalo wanting a movie, but Del Toro doing a show thing.
