And Tennessee still can’t win. The window is open with everyone being garbage.

While you make a fair point, it’s all about expectations. I’m a Kentucky football fan so thus I view each win as a crown jewel. The argument against the process is they didn’t even play an entertaining version of losing basketball.

I kind of wish there was still gear to buy in PvP. Not that I don’t like the way armor works now, but even if it was just cosmetic, it would add a small reward to leveling your honor level outside of just watching a bar move up.

That sounds like the best case jury selection for the plaintiff.

Good stuff

It is quite interesting how the different readerships between former Gawker media websites view each other.

UK owns all that land down Angliana sans the private living areas. They’re pushing campus out towards that way.

For those who don’t know, Cookout is right next to UK’s campus, surrounded by student housing. It’s not like your corner bar or liquor store, just a regular fast food joint. This also isn’t the first time gun violence has occurred there. It’s a popular spot to get food late at night.

They doubled down on WoW when they cancelled Project Titan or whatever it was called. Although the movie didn’t do great domestically, WoW is still a huge IP that they have shown they want to expand into new spaces. Look at what they’re doing with StarCraft as they’re moving to a more frequent content update model.

We played Horde mode and part of the campaign on Insane last night. I’m not even a huge Gears fan and can see a solid time investment approaching. Very fun. Splitscreen is still great.

Double +1 and tip of the hat to you.

Ah that makes a lot of sense. Do you think at some point for the sport to grow that there can’t be a disconnect between players and casual viewers not understanding the complexity of events unfolding in front of them?

Thanks for the insightful comment!

Pretty unfamiliar with the competitive scene so I wanted to ask will League of Legends always be top dog? Or is HotS a big threat to popularity in the competitive sphere.

I rewatch the show once a year in some strange ritual of re-centering myself. The principles and topics discussed and grappled with in the show apply to all walks of life and help me personally find understanding in how I feel and what I need to prioritize to be at some sort of peace. It’s quite beautiful.

Everyone should read the comics. They may even be on YouTube (idk if that’s legal) but they are excellent and follow many of the successes of the show.

Trump supporter too?

George Bush crowd

Thanks for this. You also perfectly articulated the problems I felt with TTK. It did just feel like a grind!

As someone who played Taken King (and enjoy it in the beginning) and then kind of stopped playing completely, is this new DLC worth the reinvestment?
