Is it the same dev that did the SR3 port? Didn't that run poorly? SR4 is practically the same game as SR3, just with an alien.

Bummer, I have a hacked switch so I can’t afford to have my sd card corrupted, it’d be a pain to copy everything back over again. I’m sure that unpatched versions of the game are going to be on the shelves for a while. I’m going to have to wait until the current inventory of physical carts are sold and new patched…

I think you hit the nail on the head. All I want to do is sprint around all fast and crazy. The last thing I want to do is play more stealthily and creep around. That's why this game hasn't clicked for me.
