Funny, the first thing I think of is: How could he not know his one remaining Sponsor’s 15 second spot was over?

Couple of things:

That’s still a Code “Brown” moment to me...

If this is a Single cylinder engine, did they put in a fake exhaust pipe?  The Picture shows 2.

I am sure Frances knew he was lying, as his lips were moving....

The 12 year old me SO wanted the Laser 917..

I have not problems doing it, and I’m considering purchasing something now, but I need to drive it first to see how it is, and I can’t do that online.

so you ADMIT you lost your head back there....

A 1962 Ford pickup (one always has to own a vehicle older than they are) in winter of 1985ish. MANY holes in the floorboards were a problem, Primarily due to the 18 degree temp outside when I drove it in and out of Boston to go to school.  The heater could not keep up.

I though rust was standard from the factory on those and the Ford Station wagon rear gates.

Let’s call it what it is. It’s a distracted driver training device.

Massive "Code Brown" moment. Needs Diaper wipes after that.

Drive a stick in the snow. You can downshift as you approach a place you need to stop, and downshifting slows the car while keeping the wheels rotating. When you lock up the wheels braking you're toast. The manual transmission helps prevent that.

I did this with my kids to teach the to drive with their ass. Using it to determine what direction the car is going in.

and the Illusion (at least) that you would be better protected if you got into an accident

Cherokey, or Cherokie, No longer violates the name.

As an AMC fan, I’m just going to say it. I like the 70-72 Gremlin’s (with the V8)

Really? No <Rimshot>?

The Youtuber Rich Rebuilds, and the Zero EV channels have some great shows on this kind of conversion.  the Zero EV guys used a 3D camera to map out the Engine bay of a Miata to do the CAD design work for the EV controls.

Why do cars need to lock when you get over a certain speed?  It’s not for safety as, you can use the handle to get out (usually). It’s the first thing I turn off, EVEN in Rental cars, if the manual is there.
