Power items are more likely to break.   I’ve never had to change a regulator on a window that had a hand crank.  I ALWAYS turn off the auto lock feature, even on rentals.

Is it just me, or is the Worldwide move to SUVs really because no one wants to fix the roads for cars with less Suspension travel?

in an SUV, drivers really DON’T want..

You deserve the Darwin award!

Bone reliable Corolla that looks to have avoided the Tin worm infestation for 6K and will likely run for another 6-7 years.  NP

I’m Calling No Dice, but if you ran a service for providing Period cars to movies, I’m sure that this would be purchased, for all those future “period” pieces about the 80's which would be about... Never mind

Have a pipe that fits over the end of a Socket wrench when you need the torque. Buy 2 or 3 10mm sockets. They are used for everything, and I’m always losing one. Take pictures of the things you’re taking apart for the first time.

Naw I was pulling on a wrench and when it gave way a screw scratched my knuckles.  Gotta check both ways.

For the right car, yes. I am from the land of Rust and Salt as well, but a easy to maintain, known reliable car, with serviceable body/frame would be worth it. Old pickup trucks and something carbonated would be fine.

As a former owner of a Javelin AMX, I has a sound like that where the Cam has pushed forward into deforming the back of the waterpump housing. The ticking I heard was the Impellers on the water pump hitting high spots on the deformed water pump cover. Mine eventually caused and issue and water got into the oil, and I

My wife and I have been back and forth on who might be the Real killer. I have been thinking it was Grace all along, where. My wife is thinking Sylvia as the other woman whom Jonathan said he may have had an affair with. With the reveal at the end, still not sure if Sylvia is our favorite target, but looking forward

I saw Gumball Rally like a dozen times in the Theater. Still think it holds up. Great cast including Raul Julia

I loved the story, couple of comments

Which why I by used cars, treated well by leasees and returned.

Great list here. I made each of my kids rotate the tires on the car before they could drive it. The other thing I would make them do,it learn to drive in the snow (we live in New England), We would go out in unplowed parking lots and learn to drive in the slippery stuff. Learn to drive with your backside (ass). you

Be Honest, this will never be sold. Its rare when the fast solution is the cheapest. As an engineer you're required to do things in the cheapest fastest method.

I bought a 2011 in 2015 with a 6 speed, and the 40ish mpg. I get driving 80 mph is great. I’ve seen the on the lot, but would never spend that much. I'd get a 3 year old 3 or 5 series for that money.

You can pry my 2 seat sports car from my cold deadhands...

You need to call these “reader helpers” what they really are... Enablers to your masochist addiction..happy to read about it though..

But can you make it leak oil, like a proper British car?
