Kevin, the whole reason that they do that is that they put all the money into motor and suspension parts, and nothing in the Body. That being said, not sure if they are from New England or not, but that car has a lot less rust on it than I would have thought.

I guess I'm lost then on how Europeans seem to be getting along here. The Market based approach of those countries have gas prices much higher than I would certainly propose, and they seem to drive much more efficient automobiles, and take public transportation more than we do.

We could fix this really easily, and remove a whole government agency that has to figure out compliance. Raise the tax on gas over the next few years (gradually) by $2-3 a gallon. People will FLEE to more fuel efficient vehicles and benefit the greenhouse gas issue. This would have kept the crash of the housing…

You missed the First Real Smart phone. The Handspring Visor (or Color Prism) with the Phone module plugged into the Springboard slot. I was able to synch the phone with the computer and make calls with it. Wireless Internet as well.
