I personally highly dislike the PS3 UI, and like the 360 much more. Both seem to have gotten a much needed streamlining in this next gen though, so I'm still a happy gamer.

As people have suggested; PS4 certainly has the power advantage down, but damn Xbox One has it beat on style. This isn't "next-gen" in the slightest.

Games consoles are multimedia devices. They have functionalities beyond playing games, some of which are game-related (friends, trophies, etc), some of which are not (video streaming). It's not unreasonable to expect people to be curious as to how that will look and feel on the new console.

Yes, there are. Try Polygon. Their reporting is fair and impartial and their comments section is well moderated so even the few people who do try and start trouble are weeded out quickly.
