You say that as though it's a bad thing, that's good all round. If you prefer console gaming you're unlikely to buy a gaming PC and if you're into PC gaming you're unlikely to purchase a console.

Tbh I've now seen far more of how the Xbox One runs and how the exclusives play than I have of the PS4 and it's games.

It's actually more like no achievements at all, either the games or the system doesn't have them patched in yet, probably to avoid having testers or reviewers with achievements that have dates set before the console even launched.

I went through 4 repairs or replacements myself, for me the annoyance was exactly on par with the PS3's patch/install times.

Yes that was in the CGI trailer if I remember right, although I'm almost certain she was a zombie.

Yup, add in the fact that of the two people known to have one we have one person selling it at an inflated price on Ebay and one person posting screenshots of the unfinished listings on the marketplace.

Not even close to an issue for me, I slightly prefer it to the PS4 since it's just a simple box whilst the PS4 has the strange angle thing going on.

I just remind myself of the delay they had in shipping dev kits or how they use a more complicated systems, in the long run I don't see it being an issue the same as how the PS3's rocky multiplatform start ironed out very quickly.

I don't really see those two things as antithetical to one and other, they've likely had to respond to questions on the resolution difference by saying it doesn't matter (which as the side by side videos show is mostly true) but the system is perfectly capable as this 1080p game shows.

Or they're keeping quiet and happily enjoying it under the radar, which would be the smart move.

I disagree, the game previews and dashboard previews shown this past week have had a lot of positive reactions, they've even had games journalists talking positive about the Kinect.

That's great for Sony then, looks like their marketplace is ready and waiting then which isn't surprising with the earlier launch date.

He would have likely been fine if he had just kept quiet, the Youtube unboxing and leaking details over Twitter is likely what did it. There's likely a lot of unfinished stuff going on with the network, for instance he mentions that Killer Instinct is showing up as a free download with no mention of buying options

I love the little changes they've made such as storing every item you pick up in a weapons locker you can access at any safehouse and making the time limits optional, I think this could be one of the best co-op games of the year with just how many insane weapon combos you can make with a buddy off doing their own

The time limit only exists in the 'Nightmare Mode', the six days thing is just the actual plot of the game and won't be effected by what you do in game.

I don't really think Zombies come up in games as often as people say, in the past couple of years the only games that feature zombies as any kind focus that come to my mind are DayZ and the Black Ops games, but then again that's just me.

Can't wait to play this myself, I wasn't all that pumped for it until I saw a couple of the demo playthroughs IGN posted.

As I said there are no external ads, promoting something in the Xbox store is no different to the what's new screen that opens up on a PS3 or almost any other service that includes a storefront.

They've actually confirmed there won't be any external ads on the home screen but they can be found in the store, most likely for the app services like Netflix etc.

After watching the next gen build of Dragon Age Inquisition there's no chance I would ever purchase the current gen version of that game or the next Mass Effect, I suppose it's nice to have the option but after watching a developer diary and hearing that to run it on current gen they have to cut the polygons down to
