But on a more serious note, I think it's also about firmware updates and Apple's desire to keep as many devices as possible running as safe and stable as they can. If you consider that the current rate at which iPhones are produced is somewhere in the region of 6 million per month and look at the time then spent in

And you're using an iPhone 3GS? :P

We're still talking about Apple, so your solution is probably the one thing that can't be done.

I think there's an ironic twist in using an iPhone to create a gif, because Mobile Safari can only display, but can't* save them :/

"Never understood why the iPhone and even the iPad for cripes sake, insists that you have a computer to even get started.

"Um, your asking me, Mom of two kids if I've ever seen a real woman?"

I really enjoy iBooks and was positively surprised when its' usability cleared my initial doubts about heavy reading on small screens. But the app really hinges on how it manages to combine the scaling of content with the ability to intuitively navigate said content.

Ah, ok, so Asus and the Eee PC just nailed the specification that was originally laid out by Acer.

While I can't disprove that these people actually do exist, I would have to assume them to be friends with that other group of people that believes a TV can be too big.

I don't doubt Acer and consider them as a decent manufacturer, but I feel like I'm missing some apparently noteworthy piece of information here:

Let me start by again apologizing for both the quantity and quality of my initial wall of text. I was just having a moment that trailed off to the point where I was just having some mindless fun and a lot of it was a mix of playing with marketing stereotypes and acting as my own satire.

You probably can't be aware of how delighted I am by your reply and for reasons that have nothing to do with the actual topic :D

Actually the two could barely be more different. the glass used in the iPhone 4 actually happens to turn black as a side effect of the tempering process, so one pass achieves two desired effects... and just so happens to turn the production of the white version into a complete and utter nightmare.

But Apple products are about seemless and uncompromising uniformity in design and unless you have the matching white headphone jack and dock connector, I'll pass.

I know this might seem like a cheap-shot or trolling attempt, but no matter how well you work out a Flash approach towards the concept, you will never be able to justify the increased hit on battery life associated with it.

People around me are musical ingrates with no hope for salvation. They can generally not be considered worth my Bluetooth / wireless battery life.

@ThreeOneFive: But if you kill yourself, you'll never get to see the sequel!
