Yes, you come in contact with germs all the time, but that is an incredibly broad statement. What matters is whether you come in contact with pathogenic germs that your unique and beautiful immune system is unprepared to defeat.

These articles are so irritating (and yet I clicked another one!).  We all touch millions of germs every day!  There is fecal matter ALL AROUND US!  It’s fine.  Everything’s fine.

With no mortgage payment, 10K a year in taxes means the new owner can live there for about $850 a month. 

Not even remotely how that works. Capital gains kicks in when you sell an asset, not when you buy or receive it. And Canada has an exemption on cap gains for your primary residence anyways. So as long as whoever wins it decides to actually live there most of the year, they’re in the clear.
