I’d wager that we’re more than 10-14% fatter. Don’t forget that the amount of regular physical activity has gone down as well.

Eric, you and I have very different understandings of the word “ton”. I mean, half the personal info that you listed can be obtained by just peering into your mailbox while you’re away. Also, not every airline prints the same information on your boarding pass. I can’t imagine it would be all that difficult to obtain

When I was in high school there were somewhat routine reports of high school football players dying from heat exhaustion and dehydration during tryouts and the two-a-days. Now... it’s all about concussions and brain trauma.

Serious question: Lots of people are saying that if you only swiffer your floors aren’t “clean”. Can someone describe the benefits of a rag-cleaned floor over a swiffer-not-cleaned one?

It’s not that you *were* injured... it’s that you *believe* you were injured. The thing about it is that LinkedIn did not provide you with a list of people they spammed using your name and likeness. If they started blocking things from “you” then you might have missed out on a connection and possible job.

It’s the other way around. It’s not other users sending you invite emails... it’s “you” sending other users invite emails. And by “you” I mean LinkedIn using your name and picture to spam people you more than likely know.

That would only benefit you if you actually decide to sue. In which case you’d have to actually prove (beyond a preponderance of doubt) that you suffered a loss. Also, unless you filed the paperwork and represented yourself you’d have to pay for an attorney to do all of that for you.

This is a good idea, provided you have a way to secure the tags themselves. Anything dangly can get torn off, either by the conveyor belts or the baggage handling process in general. In fact, most airport check-in gates will instruct you to remove or secure any types of straps for the same reason.

Wow. I don’t know what history books you’ve been reading, but you need to get your money back. Ken Starr was hired to investigate Whitewater, his investigation turned towards nearly a dozen other charges that were completely unrelated to any land dealings at all. He was then impeached on charges of perjury and

Cam Newton would like to have a word with you.

That is... man I dunno... that’s golden right there.

Exactly. What does having sex with somebody have to do with real estate transactions? The question itself wasn’t on topic, it was asked with the sole intention of embarrassing the President. The fact that he lied about something completely unrelated to the investigation really did make the entire thing look like a

He committed perjury on a question that had no business being asked. It wasn’t germane to the reason he was testifying in the first place.

Many years ago (pre 9/11) my wallet was stolen and the DMV needed ID before they would reissue my drivers license. I was like 19 or 20 at the time, I had a passport and a birth certificate, but they were at my parents house several hours away. So I checked the DMV list and lo and behold... I could use a high school

It’s been a long time since my “prime mall-rat teen years.” Back then you could actually pick up the stuff that you ordered from the Sears Catalog.

I haven’t seen one in a decade... but only because that’s how long it’s been since I’ve been to a mall. Well, at least an indoor mall, which is where these things seem to congregate. Everything these days is “outlet malls”. Which are just like indoor malls, but outdoors.

It’s a bit more complicated than that.

Try running it again with 440k Rams and 84k Darts. Those were their production numbers from 2014.

You can still file criminal charges even if they quit or are fired.
