4 out of 5 Manson's agree, that joke was rather difficult to digest.

You're right, it's not like you can just show up at any Wal-Mart and just buy one of those technologically advanced gizmos right off the shelf.

Thanks Obama.

It depends on the amounts really. If you're going that route for an additional 50k, and it's going to cost you 3k in closing costs then that it's different for the same 3k in costs to get 10k of cash on hand.

I disagree on the concept of "nothing artificial about region", especially when we have the technological ability to broadcast the feed anywhere in the world.

And this is where it breaks down... the now artificial denomination of "region".

So what you're saying is that the modern day Tennessee is... what... EXACTLY like Michigan from a hundred years ago?!?

One could say that about any industry really. The point is no longer to produce a product for hundreds of years, the point is now to make a product where people will buy your stock now, or where the company gets sold and you make millions. Nobody with a C at the beginning of their title is thinking long term any

+1 for reading. It's probably why the Koreans build better cars than we do these days anyway.

For what it's worth... I'd watch a reality TV show of that Leaf-Owens kid growing up, going to school, being forced to mow the lawn, trying to decide what version of milk to buy in the store, whatever.

Yes, this. Plus a million-man-march. The fact that it was essentially a non-issue is an excellent indicator of where we are today.

Just make a new post and link it to the original. Otherwise, break it down by era... since that would seem to be the defining factor in how society accepted them, and essentially the point of the article.

Plastic is a horrible conductor, it's why it's used as covering for electrical wires and whatnot. So anything covered by plastic won't transfer heat very well, thus it won't cool very well either. It's why the "pros" use stones.

I'll see if I can get some pictures when I get home tonight... but mine is almost exactly like this, with a Lack shelf supported by an additional 4 legs on top. The weight from the TV goes onto the corners of the Expedit instead of the middle. The TV and speaker stands are on the top of the Lack, the AV equipment

Yes and no.

Not that it's a great ideal to compare ones self to... but this is exactly how Honda got into the SUV market. Rebadge somebody else's vehicle, see if the market's profitable, then redesign it yourself.

I'll be honest, I have no idea with video. I thought iTunes un-DRMed their music downloads years ago. If that's still the case then I'd imagine that any ChromeCast enabled app that can find the file itself will work.

Are they files that are stored locally on your phone? If so, then just open them up in Chrome.

I probably won't pay for the PayPerView, but I'd gladly chip in a few bucks to take a couple swings at Zimmerman with a baseball bat/golf club/pipe wrench/whatever came next in line in the Airplane movie.

I found a few on Ebay for under ten bucks. That even beats most of the universal remotes.
