Oh God, I hate that you’re making me defend LuAnn. She didn’t want to be introduced by her title, unless you count “Mrs.” as a title. She wanted to be called “Mrs. DeLesseps” or “Mrs. D.”. I think this is perfectly appropriate in an employer/employee relationship. I mean, not everybody needs to be on a first-name

Better Iglesias song for the sitch:

I really liked Glenn Quinn too, and was wondering how they’d deal with his death.

Yeah, except if you’d actually read the story you’d know that these people are Canadian.

I’m not seeing that. All I can see is a Jay Leno chin. Hard pass.

Huh?

See also: Cleopatra, and literally every characterization of her since she was actually alive. I guess if you look hard enough, you can see “appropriation” anywhere you want to.

Umm, the guy picked up and FIRED the gun. This is idiot behavior, homeless or not. It’s very lucky that there were no passers-by on the other side of the wall he hit. And you are pissed that he was cited?

Unfortunately, people like that never learn. In their mind, their need is different from “those people’s” needs because reasons.

Mr. Joshua Jackson is a brave actor indeed.

Something else that was normalized in *so many* 80's movies (not necessarily just Hughes movies): gay panic as a punchline. One example: “Loverboy”.

Right now they’re saying she won’t be Queen, but rather “Princess Consort”, sort of a female version of Prince Phillip’s position.

Where does he get off? As the future Monarch, that’s where. When Charles takes the throne, he’ll be able to change the 1917 letters patent which denotes who does/does not get to be an HRH.

Uh, no.

Bobby,

YES this. The problems with this “costume” were multiple.

Well...they said “movie” though, not “major motion picture”. My thought upon reading that was something along the lines of “Project Jay”, a 2-hour special i.e., “movie” that they did about the Season One winner, Jay McCarroll, about a year after he won.

Oh Ramona. That saying might be found on a t-shirt because it’s been around for forever.

YES IT IS. It would be “Woods’...” only if possessive AND plural.
