As someone who had a left orchiectomy earlier this year due to cancer, that one about the court physician and castrating had me laughing my ass off.
I must say I am quite surprise with this review. I’m completely new to this franchise, playing on hard, and I barely ever faced a full wipe so far (about 15 hours in I’d say, fights are starting to be quite challenging). Some fights were hard but a summoned turret which would draw fire and a few other smokes would…
I feel like you might have turned off the tutorials, where it does actually walk you through quite a bit of this stuff specifically mentioned in this review. Off the top of my head, there’s a few popup tutorials that happen in your first few combats.
A pretty clear explanation of how armor works and how it impacts…
I find fascinating to read the comments here from people saying they’re not into these type of games, preferring more direction about how to play while, to me, a 34 year old guy who grew up playing the original Wasteland and a lot of other stuff that didn’t tell you how to play, this game sounds amazing.
Or, alternatively, people need to lighten up.
Robin enters the session
I could be wrong but it seems like yet another “games as a service” attempt like the Avengers game. Even when playing it pops up with “Robin has joined this session” from what I saw of the gameplay.
It’s a persona. Much like wrestlers. He boasts and brags about shit all the time.
A gesture gets its meaning through wide use, usually an entire nations or linguistic type worth of use. Not some trolls.
so if “white supremacists” started all celebrating pizza, is pizza going to be removed from all platforms?
I really dont understand the concept of removing a common hand gesture used for eons (or removing anything period) because of a couple people trolling, white supremacists or not.
The “OK” symbol as white supremacist icon was made up out of whole cloth by trolls on 4chan back in 2017 as a deliberate effort to fool the media, and the media bought it hook, line, and sinker. It should stand as a cautionary tale that (a) you can’t believe everything you read and (b) social media in particular is…
Genuinely surprised and somewhat saddened by how many other people in the thread are criticizing the cartoon because they didn’t understand it, therefore it failed.
So because you are dumb, we can’t have nice things?
Offended people are just people who don’t like being called out for their offensive behavior. This how how they think and act, therefore they find this offensive.
Turn based Yakuza? I guess we have bashed enough heads in and it’s a good time to refresh with Kazuma retiring. Still a little bummed about it.
I am not sure why so many people are claiming this could be interpreted as a conservative cartoon making fun of BLM and people who wear masks. It’s very clear from the facial expressions with whom you’re supposed to sympathize, and it ain’t the white anti-masker.
Really? I read it immediately as making fun of white people who minimize the problems black people face (and are the majority of supporters for the anti-science GOP).
My “first glance” assessment was the opposite of yours and apparently many others. I’ve studied the image to see why and can’t put my finger on it, other than the word “silly.”
Your lack of comprehension and sensitivity underscores the artist’s point.
