In the northern hemisphere, days will start getting longer”

Not even gonna read this. Just came here to say fuck off with that shit. It’s not a bloody ride.

Stop blocking the bottom and top of the escalator by standing before you get on, or after you get off.

I’m all for slowing down and smelling the roses but I’m not gonna make other people miss their own shit so I can do it. Go ahead and stand on the right if you want, but intentionally blocking up traffic that could otherwise move past you is a psycho move.

“It turns out that the huge amount of space that escalator-walkers need cancels out all the time they gain by walking. “

Fixing exactly this is her entire presidential platform.

Maybe take a look at it.

That reminds me of when it was pointed out that Adobe deliberately tries to stop people from using Photoshop as a verb:

Nope. She IS a verb now, joining the lexicon of “ether’d”. Frankly, I think it is healthy for us to use her as a verb, while my wife and I sometimes go back and forth on some of her methods, the real basic principle is legit, I don’t personally think of it as joy, I think of it like “retail space” or “eBay resell” -

This article could have been titled:

I also am completely perplexed as to what the point of this was, other than to say Netflix makes his job harder.

I’ve read this twice and I’m still not entirely sure what the point of this rant is. That people prefer comfort food over new stuff? Well, sure. That’s been the case since TV began. (And I’ll always have a Law & Order on when I’m doing chores.) Netflix wants people to stay home and watch Netflix? Well, duh. It’s hard

I’ve generally found that larger breweries (again, in general) are able to purchase more and better QA/QC equipment. In scaling up, a lot of breweries actually make greater investments in the quality and consistency of their beer. I have no experience with how this works in the snack cake industry.

That isn’t even a picture of Preston Guilmet in the original tweet posted by Morse. Which leads me to think that Dustin Morse has to generate sponsored content for food delivery companies on his Twitter feed as a result of being underpaid by the Twins.

I’m outraged that Doordash pays its drivers so little that they have to play minor league ball to make ends meet.

A lot of those alternatives are even more condescending. “Competent” and “fair share” are especially backhanded and imply ingratitude for his contributions (especially if he’s doing something to pick up your slack or something on top of his responsibilities). Praise his proactivity in stepping in when he does, or how

...but the job title is Software Architect, not architect.

This kind of shit always leads to a crash.

Do the work of roughly 1/3rd of a single full time, experience employee?

Also don’t say “Win 7 won’t be supported soon!”. Because Win 10 won’t be supported forever either.

Where do you draw the line though on the media? Can we trust splinter or are they in the pocket of BIG MEDIA too?
