There were more votes for Biden in Texas than in New York in 2020. Trump won, but there are plenty of Democrats in Texas.

They could want more money up front, could want a better job but need to pay bills now so they’re a flight risk, could be terrible with computers. They could also have been great at what they did but have no ability or desire to learn new things. In my experience young people take a tiny bit longer to get started but…
Please correct me! If I’m saying it wrong it’s because I’ve only read it or only heard it wrong. I’d rather say it correctly. If you’re far enough off in pronunciation people don’t know what you're saying.
This post is about early retirement but it covers savings rates in a chart near the bottom.
I played first gen, hated the way XP worked, and never finished it. Since it was popular and well-received, I played another one a generation or two later and hated it again. I only played it again when my kid wanted to on Switch, and the way it worked on Sword was great. I would have probably bought all of the games…
If you’ve ever given a phone to a kid and haven’t gotten it back with random settings changed, you know different kids than I do. If a kid touches my phone, they seem to turn off the wifi, maybe enable airplane mode, etc.
It’s call cliff vesting and I think it’s fairly common. Kinda sucks but it's not the end of the world.
That's ludicrous. If you maxed out you'd get less than $200 in matching contributions. You'll be able to retire a few days earlier by the end of your career!
Zero should be held in your investment portfolio. If you have a gambling portfolio, you can devote however much of it towards crypto as you want.
Why did both of them put half a Question mask on their face before kissing? Isn't kissing more enjoyable when you have a mouth?
Same age and Dick will always be my Robin. Before I ever knew of Tim Drake, I had experienced Batman 66, Batman Forever, BTAS, Super Friends, Batman and Robin Meet Scooby Doo, The Batman/Superman hour, comics from the 70s, video games, and toys. A couple of those came out after Tim was introduced but most were…
Psych is on both Peacock and Prime. Watch it if you have one of those and didn’t know it was on it!
The decor, dress, and cars are all 50s era. The wrapping paper and doll are old but I can’t pinpoint an era. The modern day has mostly people driving 50s cars though so who knows.
What are kids currently sacrificing? Schools are open, restaurants are open, sports leagues are open, theme parks are open, comic conventions are running. We have local events going on at the library, fire station open house, Halloween events, etc. I can’t think of a single thing that kids can’t do now.
Those emulator filters look bad. The developers worked with the tools they had available, they would have made things look better if they could.
It’s almost double the rate of deaths. A small percentage of a very large number is still a large number.
About 6 weeks after young kids are eligible for the vaccine, I’ll be pretty much done. At that point, everyone who wants to get it will have it. If there are large outbreaks I’ll maybe mask and distance more, but life will be mostly normal.
You have to store and put in the disc, sure. As an exchange, you can loan it to/from friends, buy it cheaper, sell it to get some money back, and play it long after your platform of choice is no longer supported. Physical releases usually also have a digital version you can purchase which would please people…
I absolutely say I’m going to google something and then use Bing and know others do as well. “Google” is shorthand for “search on the internet” for most people. It’s just easier to say you’re googling something than saying you’re going to “search for it on the internet”.
With interest rates being what they are, you want as little going towards a down payment as possible. Even with PMI, you’re going to do much better with investing than with having a larger down payment. Caveats on what the bank will approve you for apply.
