Last year at this time everyone was moaning about how Lewis won his third WDC in Austin and he’s not really trying at the end of season races, Rosberg is on FIRE! With Rosberg’s string of wins at the end of the year he will enter 2016 with such massive momentum, its amazing, he’s amazing. Now that Lewis is ending 2016

So Ron Dennis refused to cut the McLaren rate card for sponsors, is Zak now going to go downmarket, is this the brilliant solution? I’ll admit, Sensodine is hardly a proud catch, but at least its a small sponsor, kept well with in proportion to is monitory contribution to the team. Will we soon see McLaren plastered

When the trio+1 signed to do their show on Amazon it was widely reported that the deal was $154 million for 36 shows over three years. The online services all do what is called a buy out. In a buy out the production company gets one number and thats it, no residuals, no ancillary, nothing just a big number and nothing

This painting, Willem de Kooning, Untitled xxv, sold last night at Christie’s. If Google tried to figure this one out I think the right answer would be $66.3 million but my guess is Google would never figure it out. While some people think this is a figurative painting, I need more proof. Sometimes we create things

This mess started a few years ago and is essentially about proper corporate governance not F1 performance. Four years ago Mansour Ojjeh was in the middle of having his second heart lung transplant and was incapacitated, Ron Dennis took this moment to change leadership at the F1 team and return to being its head after

I think the writer of this story is on the cusp of a great insight, but she then takes a left turn and loses it. If we can project forward 8 years we will all understand the notion that Trump fundamentally did not want the job or care about doing the work. The people behind the man are the real story, the front man is

Okay, so when the US car manufactures switched to thin aluminum there was never a spike in auto deaths which eventual became the norm. Are we at peak driving miles for consumers, which excludes all commercial traffic, or have we not recovered to that point from the economic collapse of 2008? With the world economy

You are exactly right. As we are always in a moment of transition this trend of cable cutters and ESPN losing subscribers is just a message about the future, its called A-LA-CARTE! The cost of ESPN to the subscriber is a reason for much of the cable cutting. ESPN is killing other cable networks because of all the

In the real world this is the car you want. All that talk about performance this and that, the latest Ferrari, McLaren etc its BS, you cant get any of that performance on the street if you keep it legal. You want a fantastic tank. More people die on the roads each year then die of something else, and they die within a

Yup. Always wondered what he said to JB at Brazil to get him to wake up and win his WDC.

I’ve never really understood the I hate Bernie game. While I think he has failed here and there, he’s in a perpetually bad spot with the teams due to the rules regarding unanimity.
As for Ross Brawn, we need this guy in any position within F1, its great news. But, I want Brawn to tell the fans what his plans are, what

I don’t see whats so wrong about this guy…
The FBI took 4 electronic devices from Wiener, one was Huma’s and thats the one that opened Pandoras box. This is as fun as it gets.

Is this a crack neighborhood or a heroin neighborhood?

I think there is something you don’t understand about this show, everyone is a robot but the black guy. Dr. Ford is a robot, the top woman with the lacerating dialog is a robot the host are robots and the guests are robots. When the top woman had sex with the black guy it was as charm filled as flossing your teeth.

The point of my post was to add to the notion someone else mentioned, this new show is focusing on the details and the trailer reflects this. I assume the quality will be as cinematic as ever, visuals, music, props, locations, script the whole thing.

Yes just this one or two shots, they knew they wanted to see the shell so they did it right for all of two shots.

Check out the shot of the tank shooting its shell, you can actually see the shell after it exits the barrel. This would be impossible to capture at 24fps (you know what I mean). I think they shot that shot at super high speed to get an image of the shell then speed up the play back and picked the frame with the shell,

Nut job Musk is so boring at this point I find myself asking who cares. Then I realize there is a real reason Musk and SpaceX are making such a big deal of all this, insurance and new costumers. If you don’t know what actually happened why would it not happen again and again. Offering a path to space for paying

Yup!
And look at a chart of seasonal price changes for oil reveals it all. Prices for oil and gas go up in the early fall because something called the weather gets cold and demand goes up. Spring time gas prices drop, early summer it rises because refineries shut down to switch over to produce a mandated Summer formula

I can’t read that name, Karmann Ghia, or see an image of one and not laugh. Mel Brooks made a film called The Producers which featured a character named Karmann Ghia played by Wally Shaw. HILARIOUS… It takes a little nerve to create a character who’s name is a well known car, and a silly looking car at that.
