Just young women, eh?

Hey extra bonus points if you can tell us how a mammogram relates to breast cancer treatment seeing as you seem unable to grasp the connection, maybe you can do some research on the matter to show yourself what a ridiculous statement this is you made:

I show more compassion than you have demonstrated in any of your posts, and calling you a lowlife miscreant doesn’t change that one bit. BTW you are not prohibited from swearing at people online because you are a nurse in America. So not only are you spreading false information about cancer treatment, it sounds like

Not with that attitude you can’t!

Oh that’s so cute! Major logic fail on your part. You do realise that a mammogram is a precursor to cancer treatments, right? So a delay in a mammogram is a delay in cancer treatment (if it reveals the existence of cancer, obviously)?

I’m pretty sure the person you’re responding to is a sociopath. She takes great pains to show off how she was supported when she needed time off (because she’s really so important at her job and therefore deserves it) but judges the heck out of anyone working for minimum wage who needs the same. Total lack of empathy

All this and you still have time to look down your nose on people who make minimum wage and who in general just aren’t as great and wonderful and needed and valuable as you are? Wow. Good thing you got the health care and time off when you needed it, goodness knows you deserve it and the minimum wage workers don’t.

hmmm nope, I am an RN with a Masters degree who does a heck of a lot of self-funded volunteer work in Latin America and on the reserve where I am from, has had a job since I was 12, moved out at 16 and kept a perfect GPA while working full time at McDonalds to support myself.

Forums are pretty much about sharing opinion and anecdotes, we’re not conducting an RCT here.

Just keep telling yourself that when something is metastasizing in your body,

Will going to work tomorrow affect your chance of survival? No? Then while I hope it goes well for you feel free to shut the front door about cancer screening.

Actually a week can and does make a difference in many cases with cancer treatment. Source I’m a fucking palliative nurse who used to work in oncology. So, fuck you.

An appointment opened up and they gave the spot to her. This should tell you two things - one, the reason she didn’t get an appointment earlier is because there were no appointments to give and two, when an appointment did open up they chose her to fill it because they were obviously concerned enough to want her in

A day or two abos-fucking-lutely can made a difference with a tumour not to mention a week. What kind of horrible person are you. “I get it she found a tumour and got scared but she made a choice” yeah a choice to try not to dies of cancer. I can’t even...did I get lost and wander into reddit by mistake?

...yeah, you’re pretty much a dick if that’s your best defense. Good thing you’re not a doctor. I hope you never have to go throught cancer and if you do you get a lot more compassion and understanding than you demonstrate here. A week is a BIG deal to sit and wonder if you have cancer, and if it were me, I’d want to

I think she might actually be a little nuts.

Until everyone has rights, no one can have rights is your logic then? Sounds like you’d bring every cause to its knees if you could.

You sound pretty powerful. So I guess you can never be a victim then.

So she should sit down and shut up BECAUSE she’s a pretty rich white girl. Wow. Nothing wrong with that logic. I guess she should just keep her pretty little mouth shut and stick to shopping eh. Literally wtf. I’m no pretty rich white girl but I have much respect for anyone who stands up to the police and is aware of

Um, what? I’m putting myself at the centre of everything? Thats just an ...odd thing to say. Her mother should NOT be worried about making sure her daughter is awarded a proper defense? You response is nonsensical. Irritating a police officer is not against the law.
