Come on, there are some brilliant thinkers in the USA. Can't someone come up with a way of phrasing a law that both prohibits people from taking an uninvited upskirt photo while not inhibiting free speech?

Do you think the woman in this photo has Down Syndrome? I dunno, this meme has always bothered me because it appears to be making fun of someone for their disability. Not saying the poster is being mean on purpose, just wondering what other people think.

I hope all goes well for you. I must say the first time I've ever read language such as "our fellow man" on Jezebel, when the intent is clearly to include females under the word "man", has been in the past fifteen minutes. Yes, yes, I get the linguistic arguments why refering to humans as male may be acceptable, but

Using term like 'fellow man' on Jezebel? WTF? I thought this was the one place I could come and have a rest from this type of exclusionary language. Is this the direction that the new editor is taking us?

She did, at least in the past, donate a substantial amount of her income to stop cruelty toward animals. Not sure what her current cat-i-tarian efforts are put toward.

I've always been freaked about getting a gyno exam. I finally relented and went to get one. I asked the doctor what I should do about being so nervous, maybe I needed an ativan first or something. He said if I was nervous he wouldn't see me till I had been cleared by a shrink and there's something wrong with me. It

Victory because he didn't murder her to death in the face with his gunknife, more like lucky she didn't get even more assaulted/unlucky to have been mugged though.

Regardless of a fetus' proximity to your uterus and its gestating time, fighting off a mugger sounds completely stupid to me.

Well I have to say I was quite hesitant to click on the notifications tab and actually came to ask that we terminate this conversation because it's just too upsetting to have to validate the experiences that Aboriginal people have every day but in the end I was happy I did because your response was not what I expected

Try living as an Aboriginal person in Canada, you might change your mind. For example I was on a forum for med school applicants and one candidate flippantly referred to all Indians as 'sit-backs'. This is at a medical school that prides itself at being at the forefront of Aboriginal health. Guess what? He got in.

So what? If that many people are against the policy, maybe it should be challenged.

So all is good because he didn't rape anyone at that event. All is forgiven then because he was polite and seemed nice.

Yes. This exactly. I love popping people's cherries about Canada when I travel. Just check out the comments section on any story run by the CBC that has to do with Indigenous rights and you can see for yourself how deep the racism runs.

Thank you! I was too drunk last night to do so, glad someone caught it.

Is there any age this would become an immoral act? Not kids obviously, but, is there an age when it's just wrong to try to get pregnant?

in some places yes

This dude is my homegrown hero too!

People have always liked freckles in my circles...freckle-face is a compliment. Right?

yeah that's totally the same thing as telling a Native person to cut their hair.
