I'm torn on the one hand I love Drew tearing into Gregggg, on the other hand if he stops doing it I'll probably stop reading TMQ which is probably for the best.

They're not being interviewed as lawyers, and as such are not being asked for a legal opinion about the constitutionality of the act (nor should they given they are advesarial parties, they'd want to bring in constiutional lawyers and scholars as expert witnesses). They're being deposed as representatives of a party

Thanks for inferring my political views from a joke, I'm sure you know exactly who I am and what I think. Guess I should keep to the usual deadspin fodder of dick jokes.

This should go up on the wall next to the Obama Nobel Peace Prize.

It'll be interesting to see his Combine results. Presumably he won't have a pro-day in the traditional sense because he's suspended from the team this year. There's a lot of teams who need secondary help and he has the skill set to return kicks/punts so I don't think he'll fall nearly as far as a player in another

The Marlins Homerun Atrocity

I had a similar position when I worked at a call center. About half the time i was a phone monkey, the other half I would train classes of incoming agents. For about 5 weeks I was in charge even though their supervisor was my supervisor. That said, I was basically in charge of their entire work life while they were

Most high schools don't have the funding to make coach a full-time job. You have to be able to teach another subject (even if it is just Gym) in order to have an actual income.

Do you ever stop think about the fact that frequentists don't believe in your methods, and then laugh at them?

I'm not so sure why everyone is so down on Jason Campbell. Campbell's raiders were better than Palmer's. The offense didn't seem to suffer with Campbell at the helm (they were about as successful as they were with Cutler that night [which is to say not very much]).

Not that I'm a Lochte fan, but in his defense it looks like they were going down a list and skipped the Auburn game and Lochte just missed that.

Yeah, but that was to correct an enormous problem at 1st. What reason would they now have to take on A-Rod's contract? I see pretty good arguments for Crawford (bad blood in Boston and should be better after coming out of surgery), Beckett (bad blood, history of pitchers doing better by switching from AL to NL,

Why is this even a rumor? Why would the Dodgers pay more for worse production at 3rd than Luis Cruz?

ESPN has the HR at 371 at Tiger Stadium that still would have been out (just barely) their right center wall is 370.

I agree with the other commentators, but I would add taking a safety precaution doesn't necessarily guarantee the hazard doesn't happen. People still die in car accidents when wearing seat belts, yet I will continue to wear mine.

I feel like there's a joke to be made here about rough surprises fulfilling plenty of fantasies, but it just seems like low-hanging fruit.

The greater problem here is that the NFL is operating as both a monopoly (what you're going to watch baseball on Sunday?) and monopsony (they are the only employers for NFL caliber players and refs [you can make an argument for the NCAA, but that still doesn't create a competitive market]).

Don't forget the Colts getting a new possession on a roughing the kicker call where no one actually touched the kicker (and then three downs later a highly questionable late hit call that again gave the Colts a new set of downs).
