Clarkson is like a one-man Charlie Hebdo machine. Doesn't discriminate when it comes to off-putting comments, no matter how bloody offensive. But it's entertainment, so it's funny. Personally, even if he made a comment about ME, I'd laugh.

In the meantime... Clarkson's just gonna do what Clarkson always does:

Reading this list made me realize how much I love Jezza. Brilliant man. "Taking offense" to something is no reason to make any retaliation whatsoever, even the request of an apology. Nobody cares that your 'feelings' got hurt, and they shouldn't. Man/Woman up.

Top Gear's infamous U.S. special involved them driving through deeply conservative rural Alabama with "Hillary for President," "Man-love rules OK," and "NASCAR sucks" painted on their cars. While this one didn't create an international diplomatic crisis, it did get their van pelted with rocks. (For the record, as both

Now that would be brilliant! I also think he would be one hell of a Jalopnik contributor!

I think your entire family needs to go away... in a ball of fire

I'm a terrible person for laughing at all of these, aren't I?

Jeremy Clarkson is like 85% fracas, the rest is troll and pies

Go ahead, BBC. Fire him. We'd love to have him over here as a replacement for John Davis when he retires from MotorWeek.

Most of the planet disagrees with you and loves to watch the show

I'm an American, & I own 911's, and he makes fun of Americans & 911's all the damn time. Yet I somehow manage to not get offended, and he's still my favorite tv personality ever. Look at Daniel Tosh. Think he's ever pissed anyone off? And yet people love him. Clarkson is a comedian. He gets paid to make fun of stuff.

If this means Top Gear goes off the air or gets a new host then I say we kickstarter Clarkson into his own webisodes were he can be as offensive as possible.

The fact that he offends is why I watch. I like that he pokes those sensitive people and gets them irritated.

#TeamClarkson

I am a person and he hasn't pissed me off.

I can't believe they paid you for this garbage. die in an fire.

If you really want to celebrate cars in Detroit you need to come to the Woodward Dream Cruise in August.

The timing may not be the best as the weather is crap, but other than that I see nothing wrong. It's the motor city.

Detroit just put a lot of money into updating Cobo Hall. At least the carpeted front area is beautiful now, this is the atrium that overlooks the river.
