I agree this is definitely the right answer. They come in packages high enough to enter the luxury range. They can drift. They can off road. They can tow and haul. They can cruise. Anything else besides the SUV variant of the Silverado or F150 is absolutely the wrong answer.

Seriously. Why would anyone argue with that other than to say "Lol, big dumb "Murrikan truck!!" They're comfy as hell with plenty of space.

I would agree on the F-150. Highest number of production trucks making parts insanely plentiful. Far less problems than other manufacturers too. I would however take it a step further and say Crew Cab in 4x4 trim as it's even more versatile and the front brakes are even easier to work on.

It is really no wonder pickup sales dominate the market...they lliterally can do everything: transport people and stuff, tow, and can be outfitted with features to rival luxury cars.
