I don't get why this story is here or why this is a story?

That is true. I absolutely loved my Excursion.

Haul stuff that is dirty that you can't put inside an SUV. I once used my Ford Excursion to haul 9 bales of hay. I was cleaning hay out of that thing for weeks after that. Also its hard to run down the the local landscape story and get a load of dirt with an suv.

They are great vehicles to commute in.

I would bet to say that I could.

I would agree. I truly feel that a crew cab pickup is the most useful vehicle you can buy

The Ford F-150. Well actually any crew cab pickup could really fit here. The people carrying ability of a sedan with the hauling capability of a truck.

They make that exact truck, its called the Tremor

They didn't cut it down, they made a 4 door into a 2 door

Shaq's jeep. It's already built for a big guy and if you are bigger then him you can just take the roof off.

Doug Demuro was in the Simpsons!

Its called functionality

My Explorer has almost 70,000 miles on it. One of the trip meters has not been reset the entire life of the vehicles. It is showing an average MPG of 22.3 over the whole 70,000 miles. I don't think thats too bad.

Also I have a 2012 Explorer set up as an emergency response vehicle and it does a great job at it.

They are the same damn vehicle. Just one has a trunk and one doesn't. I work in automotive and literally almost every part in drive train of those vehicles is the same.

These a frickin awesome. I want all of them!

So what do you recommend the cops drive then?

I've had two King Ranch's an F-150 and an F-250, both were awesome trucks.

My 2006 Ford F-250 Powerstroke Diesel with a turbo back straight pipe. The following video was taken from inside the truck.

I'm so glad I live in a state that doesn't require emissions checks
