The back story to this is one of the guys asked how they got away with it with no legal action from Ford with it looking so much like a Mustang. That is when the employee, straight faced, said that it was in no way based off the mustang and was an all original design.
That is basically what we all did
I was told when I was at the Detroit auto show that the Bass was in no way based off the mustang and that it was an all original design. That came from one of the Equus employees.
