I mean we’re out here dipping potato chips in butter, can’t really stand on principles about hand crushing garlic. I say just buy the pre-minced in a jar.

Anytime I can make you happy, SimuLord, I’m happy.
Yeah, not so much. Scarcity at launch for the PS4 lasted until the following summer, but it wasn’t nearly as hard to find one as it has been to find a PS5. The prominence of scalper bots this go-around has completely changed the game.

It also tastes great on top of your blood pressure pills!
Ah, just not putting every-day things on the top shelf is a pretty elegant solution, lol. My wife’s problem there is that her husband is tall and never thinks about that when putting things away. Well, that and the fact we just don’t have enough space.
Looks like the picture insert didn’t work, but I think I get what you mean. My wife has shared concerns about losing the pantry outright too. I know walk-ins are popular now; maybe we could do a subtle walk-in pantry on the diagonal in the corner to the left of the fridge. You’re right that the island would still be…
We’re not sure yet whether it will be sold or if we’ll be living there afterward. Probably a mix of both: Live there for a year or two, maybe try to save a bit extra so we can get into a nicer house (or location) than our current budget allows, then sell.
Thank you so much! It was definitely a trauma, but we were lucky that we weren’t injured, and to have a lot of friends and family offering support, shelter, wisdom, and free labor.
That makes a ton of sense. Thanks for the insight. As soon as I read your comment, I flashed on the photos from realty websites that have stood out to me, and the clean, simple layouts with new, modern (but probably cheap) furniture is a consistent theme. It doesn’t make a ton of sense logically, since you’d put your…
Answering my own (ancillary) question:
I haven’t sold a house before and have wondered the same thing, but the one reasonable answer I can imagine is if you’re in a competitive market as a seller and closing fast is a priority. If, say, you’re trying to sell your house because you’ve just taken a job across the country, and doing certain renovations has…
So I’ve got a real question for you, or anyone else who might be willing to offer informed insight:
This is great and all, but my wife got screwed on the public service loan forgiveness program in a totally different way and still gets zero relief.
Worse than useless advice. Just leave a computer on and check the Event Viewer when you get back.
You’re probably right to some degree. To the point of laziness, I’d guess that if anyone thought about it, they probably just figured it would be a hassle and said screw it, who’s gonna care?
I don’t think anyone involved really thinks this is the problem. It’s just that the licenses to include that content were probably worded to include broadcast either via a specific platform, or within a specific window of time (or both).
Fuck your brainless and unoriginal Enterprise hate. Cpt. Archer et al have already had more abuse than they ever deserved, and you’re clearly just a bandwagon piler-on with no ability to think for yourself and recognize an example of impeccable storytelling which helped to usher in a new era of unapologetically…
