Unfortunately, the world has proven itself too stupid to separate humor from reality. I think in any other context, I might have found this funny, but the underlying certainty that this sort of joke routinely gets picked up and waved around by conspiracy theorists and anti-vaxxers kind of sucks all the humor out of it.

Dead Jesus, does it really look like that on its side? I may have to wait for the second-gen...

My experience working for a surgeon for two years is all I need to understand why he thinks this is fine. They have supplies like band-aids falling out of every other cabinet.

“You people”? Come on, man.

Thanks so much for sharing these stories! I never watched the show but I think I know what you’re talking about. The arrangement with private ambulances is the same for all or most areas around me (Birmingham), and my sister worked dispatch for one of those companies for a while. She didn’t stick with it due to

Well, like I said...grasping.

You’re basically right. Congress has the power to stop him by way of impeachment, by rights, legally. The trouble is that a majority in the Senate lack the power of integrity and character to do it. So now we all wait until January to see if Georgia can save us from more of the do-nothing Congress we’re all

That first part sounds like the beginning of a Twilight Zone episode.

WTF is wrong with people? A global pandemic that spreads easily through the air is not a reason to travel across the country meeting new people in different communities. If you think really hard about it, you might even say it’s a great reason to stay TF at home you freaking selfish Trump-worshipping morons.

I once got a call from my own number and when I answered I heard my own voice with a delay. It was trippy. Not spam, of course, but some sort of weird glitch with my phone or carrier, but you just made me remember it...

I don’t get calls from debt collectors, yet I also ignore calls from unknown numbers. I think that’s the case for most people these days, because Ajit Pai’s FCC is much more concerned with finding ways for big telecom to screw over Americans and destroy a free and open internet than he is with fixing the junk call

My wife won’t let me cancel Netflix (I almost never use it, but she watches it all the time). But I’ve got a setup that would make it really reasonable to just pay for a month here and there, a couple times per year.

I got a notification that someone replied here asking if this still works, but the comment seems to be gone now...

It hasn’t occurred to me to include GPA on any CV/resume in my life. As a hiring manager at various points in my working life I’ve seen them, but it’s usually just from young candidates who only have school to point to and no job experience. I had a budget for those so I could request transcripts, of course.

I don’t think your Amazon middleman theory is correct. Most of the inventory stocked in the house is of the disc type (DVD, CD, etc.), and there’s a room full of CD/DVD replicators, which are pretty expensive machines. This is obviously a small scale manufacturing operation.

Yeah man. Not real enough.

Real gangstas will use clips from Faces of Death 6 as their background.

When you ride with me, every road trip is a whiskey-drinking road trip. ;)

You can also watch on PBS, which will be airing live under the PBS NewsHour banner. The link below should work, or you can watch on most streaming devices using the PBS app. I also highly recommend signing up for Passport for $5/mo through your local PBS affiliate, to support public television and get unfettered
